I’m actually very pleased with LitExtension and their migration service. I had a personal tech expert to communicate with me every step of the way. We were always discussing the plan, the progress, and adjustments on-the-fly. Right now, we’re finishing up the design and making use of the migrated data, and in the end, I’ll give LitExtension one more call and they’ll import the most recent data so we can launch. This migration was a painless process.

WARNING!!
Free does not mean ‘free’ as this plugin claims. I was using Weebly and in order import, even as a test/demo, I would have to pay $99 for importing 15 products.
Then, the kicker, you can’t delete your account with them OR change the email associated with the account.
So, basically they mislead you into thinking you can do this for free and then make you create an account with them that you cannot delete just to find out that you have to pay to do anything(at least with Weebly and some other platforms).
I would give you a big fat ZERO stars if I could,.. DO BETTER!

I have been using this regularly for my clients now and will keep using it for future projects as well. The installation is very easy and they have a really nice step by step instructions that you have to follow. Lots of options to select from when migrating. I have tried Magento, Shopify and Woocoomerce so far and have no complaints so far. The customer support is very responsive and helpful. Definitely a 5*.

Litextension is actually a magic tool. I’m sure there is no other plugin available like Litextension. I tried several plugins to export all the store data from the old version of WordPress / wwoocommerce website to another store which was updated with the new theme. I have been able to migrate all content include brands and subscribers/users that did not work with other plugins. I was actually breathless with anticipation on whether this would work. I only did the free one for a test setup to see if it was possible. It took nearly half an hour for ~1000 products to be migrated, and the set up and images all were connected in the new test store. Will use for live migration.

This is shocking. Not only has the import failed to bring over the order data and customer details, but it’s broken my site!
The navigation is all null and the home page doesn’t exist any more!
