How do I make the taxonomy list to show in alphabetical order? Right now, it shows the order by number of posts.

Since the last update, title including fontawesome icons are not correctly displayed.

.lctw-expand-options is hidden because $expandoptions === “expand” and .lctw-all-options is hidden by jQuery because of jQuery(“#expand”).val() is undefined.

Today I updated wordpress and my theme to the latest version and the plugin no longer works. It displays the drop-down list of the requested CPT but does not give any search results (after clicking on GO).

Latest version of Wordress — all widget options seem to work great except when I tick the “Display as Dropdown” box, the categories are still listing as an unordered list.

I have more than thousand terms, I want to only show selected terms on the widget, please add this function, it will be almost impossible to input all the terms to be excluded. Thanks

Is there a way to have the plugin have a category as bold or have a class on it so it can be styled. So, if the current page is part of ‘category 2’ and that is listed in the widget, it would add a class to it. Kind of like how a page in a navigation bar will have the current-page class if it is the pae that is displayed.

Hello I am using WordPress 5.6, there is a error to save while using this plugin, thank you for your help.

I modified the plugin so that it’s possible to limit the number of items to show. I contacted the plugin author months ago to see if they would be interested in incorporating the changes but haven’t had a response.

It adds a field in the Widget configuration panel, in which you can enter a number to limit the number of items.

It seems to work for me, but use at your own risk ??

I assume that if you install this modified code, and there’s a future update to this plugin, which you update to, this modified version will be replaced by the updated version.

Just letting you know that when the Widgets admin page is loaded, your plugin dumps many undefined index errors.

In one of my dropdowns, I wanted to sort the entries by ID (as I entered them in a specific order – in this case, the books of the Bible in the order they appear in the Bible). But the dropdown list has them in alphabetical order, even though I chose ID in the More Options section of the widget. Not sure if I did something wrong. Any help is appreciated!

I would like to order the list of tax terms by when they were last used in a post. Is there a way to “hack” that in, with a hook or something? (I know PHP and have a child theme, but I don’t have time right now to study your code.) Or would you consider a feature request to add it to the Order By choices?

In the last 24 hours I’ve noticed a fatal error with the plugin:

Currently I’m using Divi Theme Builder and have a widget calling to the custom taxonomies. I was wondering if there is a way to only show selected taxonomy terms for the current post with this plugin or if anyone has any suggestions on how to achieve this.

My taxonomy categories are showing in order of the number posts in each – how do I make them show in an alphabetical list?

Unless I’m missing something, the plugin will always show all items in the taxonomy.

It would be perfect if I could set a limit on how many are displayed. So I could show the top 5 most used items in the taxonomy (or just the first five ordered by name, or whatever).

This is useful when I have a taxonomy with a lot of members but just want to list a few in my widget area.

When I’ve installed it, I was secretly hopping there will had a “button” (lol…) that allow to “exclude the current category”, without providing any ID.
Explanations : I’m using your widget in my cpt archives pages, and I would like to display the “other categories”, excluding the current category.
Makes sense ? Any clue ?

I really like this widget, but there is a missing link.

I would like to list multiple children categories from different parrent ID’s ordered by name, however the widget only works with 1 parent category ID inserted.

Is there a way to easily achieve this?

EX:
parent categories are states and children’s are the cities:
