For successful SEO, internal links are essential. Link Whisper is excellent and saves an incredible amount of time. I don’t understand the negative reviews. Even the free version raises the SEO score. There may be incompatibilities between plugins, but I’ve had no problems. I’d recommend it.

I first starting using it on a massive website I used to manage and the link suggestions must have saved me hours! I now have it on my new website and again it is helping me to identify potential links, increase my SEO and save me time!
I now recommend it to my own clients as an essential tool for wordpress sites ??

The free version only show you the current status of your posts. Cannot fix, delete, or advise anything. Other free plugins are better.

LinkWhisper is a game-changing WordPress plugin for internal link building. Its intuitive interface, automated link suggestions, and customization options make optimizing SEO a breeze. It also checks for and fixes broken links, enhances user engagement, and doesn’t impact website performance. With excellent support, LinkWhisper is a must-have for anyone serious about improving their website’s SEO. Highly recommended!

The plugin doesn’t work – STEP AWAY! – The plugin can’t run a scan links on my site (which is the plugin’s first feature…) and the developer doesn’t know why…so the plugin is useless and they refund me without fund the reason…
Which just goes to show how committed support is and how much they care about their customers….
If anyone knows of a good WordPress plugin for internal linking, I’d love to hear from you!

Does not provide the relevant page. Just checks the text, also, should look at the whole website, not just the categories provided.

Sorry, you asked for a review, but you get 1 star for doing that, in the main dashboard. Next time, might I suggest you use your own plugin dashboard to advertise premium versions and request reviews.

Responding to the nag screen to provide review, these are my thoughts:
a) I replaced a site clean-up app with this, for a lighter-weight plug-in just for finding orphan pages. Link-whisper worked fine for this task.
b) I use Display Posts to generate a footer that references related pages. Link-whisper seems to read these dynamic lists to count Inbound Internal Links.
c) This is one of many plug-ins where the free version was good enough to get a certain task done, the Premium version doesn’t address additional felt additional needs, and eventually it will get swept away in a Plug-in purge.
PS to developer: as new/casual user, I wished the Report Page header included pointers to definition of “Inbound internal links, Outbound internal links, Outbound external links”. I eventually figured it out from the internet, but not from a single clear page focused on what they are (rather than how to use them).

This plugin saves us plenty of time looking for related content within our websites and helps us boost on-page SEO. We are currently using the free version and still find great value from it. Of course you have control over which link suggestions to use and which not to.
The ability to see the amount of inbound/outbound links right from the Posts and Pages listing in the WordPress dashboard is a great way to get an overview and decide which tasks you want to work on next.

For a free tool, it’s not bad. However, in many cases, it doesn’t really choose words/phrases that are relevant.

It is a good tool to control the internal links of the site/blog. But when used to find the urls to link with the anchor text need some more work.
