All in all a great plugin that does what it promises but what a shame that the knowledgeable developer has abandoned further updates and neglects the minor support requests. It would serve the WP community a great deal if plugin kept up-to-date as the developer deserves high recognition for the excellent code.

It isn’t perfect, but it works well for most posts and provides an easy and compelling way to link to a great deal of content.

Wish you could set a default image when the image is missing.

I’ve been looking so much for a way to embed links on a page much like on Facebook.
I initially wanted to have my Facebook feed embedded, but since I have a personal profile and not a public page, embedding Facebook directly is not an option.

However, this little plugin helps a lot, because even without my feed, I can just paste the links I already shared on Facebook and have the same kind of experience, with the featured photo, the article title, a small excerpt and the link. Perfect!

Thanks a lot for making this, it’s quite rare and also free ??

For some reason, it’s not working … so I tried adding this plugin link and it says….

The only thing missing for me is to set the post featured image to the one that was pulled thru open graph, as it’s still a messy manual step.

4 stars. The preview didn’t work – kept grabbing the default image instead.

Ended up going with Embedly and it works great.
