As per title. This doesn’t work on the newer version. Please update it!

This is a wonderful plugin. But, could you please tell me how can i make it work while doing the quick edit?
Thank you
]]>Hi there,
is there any workaround to get more than the title field?
We wish to limit some other fields in the same way as this plugin does with the title…
In our case on ACF created fields.
Why? ACF only supports the “maxlength” in the input field. So if the author is typing more words as allowed and he is not look to the monitor, he wouldnt see that he is typing but no character is showing.
So is there a way to add more fields?!
]]>One of our clients is running a content aggregator website and posts are imported automatically (i.e. no one is manually adding posts).
Will this plugin automatically limit/restrict title lengths that are imported this way?
]]>I tried this plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work with qTranslateX?
Basically it displays the characters left in the text box, but it doesn’t update as I entered more text, and it doesn’t prevent the post submission even though the characters have exceeded.
Now that the post is updated, it shows negative characters which i correct, but because it doesn’t update as I type, I couldn’t save the post even after reducing the title.
Any help?
]]>So this is a nifty plugin idea…
That said, if it goes down to 0, it still allows an update, BUT when I actually go to update, it gives me an error saying it is going over the character limit. I counted the letters and checked 3 titles, but to no avail, so basically it seems the backend count is off by one OR more likely its just not allowing to save on 0 characters left.
I’ll look at the code and adjust, but thought I’d let you know. Maybe it has to do with the recent WP update. On a separate note – adding this to quick edit and setting different limits for Custom Posts type titles would be great additions.
]]>Hi,
I really appreciate the possibility to choose which custom post types to apply the limit to. However, have you considered the possibility to set different limits to different post types?
Say I have both flash news and longread type of content in my site, I probably want different character limit for each of them.
]]>Hi Is it possible for the Character Limit to show in Quick Edit. If not is this planned for the future?
Thanking you.

]]>Hello,
I just installed plugin and after i turn it on and go to Settings and choose Limit Post Titles nothing shows. Page is loaded but nothing i can do. I tried reinstalling. Still nothing. Any tip?
Cheers
]]>Does not work, sorry.
]]>WordPress has a built in tool called Press It for posting articles and it uses a different page for the actual posts. Could you make this plugin work with it as well? My users can post articles through this, so it would be very helpful. I tried to tweak the plugin to make it work, but I am not familiar with javascript enough to make it work.
Thanks if you can, either way.. because the plugin is great anyway!

]]>Hello,
This plugin seems to be all I wanted to do (limit caracters in products page to make the title on one line instead 2 or 3 lines) but it doesn’t work on my side.
I saw that pre-existing titles may need to be updated to match the new limit. I did that (click on modify product and click update without chaging anything, and even changing one letter of the title). I tried to duplicate a product too. No way ??
My site is not visible (under construction). I use Evolve theme and I’m on wordpress 4.2.2. I asked myself if I had to disable some options in the theme.. but I don’t know.
Could you help me please to find a solution?
Thank you!
I love the plugin. Exactly what I needed.
One thing: The little counter number at the end of the post title area is wonderful, but it blocks out the last character or two of my post title so that I cannot see them. A few typos (punctuation mostly) have slipped through as errors as a result of this. Any way to fix this?
