serious waste of time

Doesn’t even work. Keeps displaying a 404 when I try to activate the plugin. Also displays a 404 when trying to remove the plugin. I had to manually delete it from FTP.

Can even create sliders. Should’ve read comments before wasting my time.

Hi
this is a good plhugin but if for security reasons we rename the wp-content folder, the picture won’t be loaded

I love this plugin. It’s really easy to customize! Thank you.

I really like the vania skin, which is the reason I gave this plugin a shot – and it looked so much cooler than the premium plugins, however, I ended up just wasting time getting it to work.
It wasn’t even uploading images properly and doesn’t just read images from the media folders, it wants to copy them when it uses them – which would be fine if it worked, but I just had no joy with it. That said, others have, and I don’t want to be too harsh on the guy who developed it, because it’s obviously working for some people and it’s not like he makes you pay for it either, it’s just a shame that it didn’t work, and I don’t have time to wait a month or so for a support thread to be answered.
Unfortunately, my search continues for one like this, but working.

When I try create a slideshow, it just lists one image under the next.

Brand new install of WordPress 3.5.2 with twentyeleven theme, doesn’t save preferences, can’t edit an existing slider (defaults to add new) Changing to “Clean Start” theme makes the editing link show up, but still can’t save any changes.
Very disappointing when a plugin doesn’t work with a brand new install of WordPress. Looks like there are lots of good options if you could ever get it to work.

I tried this plug-in. It installs well and I didn’t get any error code.
I feel like disoriented and I feel like not really user friendly.
I hope I could say different but it is how I see the plug-in.

I don’t know if it has to do with my wordpress version but my sliders are always disabled. I insert shortcode on post but nothing shows.
I enable them again on sliders panel they show ok but when i click on one of them in order to get the shortcode or do any modification i get this https://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/441/screenshot20130328at536.png/
any help or ideas because as a slider this plugin looks very promising!

I was very satisfied with the plugin. Very easy to integrate into my site. And easy to use. There are a few things that can be updated and worked out but 2.0 was a huge enhancement and I’m excited to see new features and controls added over time.
Thank you for this great FREE plugin. Works wonderful and I will continue to use it.

I was happy to find a slider that actually had captions in the control tabs, but after trying to work with it for an hour I decided it wasn’t any better than simply hard-coding a slider in the site.
It’s the user interface; it honestly needs to be scrapped and replaced entirely. It’s counter-intuitive and hard to use. I’m a theme developer, if it’s hard for me to use it would be impossible for my clients. Here’s some specific problems:
1) Image uploader doesn’t use WordPress media uploader, so you can’t add an image that’s already in your media library.
2) It doesn’t allow you to do basic things like specify the dimensions of your slider or images, that’s controlled by skins.
3) Changing skins on a slideshow is a ridiculous process – you have to save your slider before you can change the skin. Then, after you change the skin it asks if you’re sure, then once you save it, it disables the slideshow so you have to re-enable it and save it again. Then each skin can have different fields to fill in. After changing skins my captions were lost and I had to put them in again. Once skin kept giving me field errors when I tried to save, after trying everything, I was finally FORCED TO DELETE THE ENTIRE SLIDE GROUP, making me start back at the beginning.
4) There are no directions on how to add your slide to your site, you have to come back to the www.remarpro.com plugin listing for that info.
If you are power user and up for making your own skin you might get some use out of this plugin, otherwise don’t bother.

After searching around for image sliders, and not being able to find something even close to what i needed I ran into LenSlider, downloaded it, installed, and proceeded to customise it for my project…
After much trial and error, I figured I was not going to be able to customise it by myself without sweating blood first, so i wrote an email to Igor Sazonov (the developer), where I asked him his advice to achieve the desired functionality and within SECONDS he answered my request and instead of giving me advice, he actually started working on my case!!! Now I have EXACTLY what I needed, FOR FREE, and most importantly, Igor is both a code Guru and a great person to deal with, which made the whole process a truly gratifying experience.
As i say in the title of this post, the developer is absolutely exemplary, both in his programming skills and human relations, I could not possibly be more happy with having chosen this LenSlider, and from now on, I will use it as my first choice!
Great work on the plugin, Igor, and thank you ever sooooo much for all your help, see you in Piter for a coffee next month! ??

Installed, activated, tried to add a slide and it fails with the 2 themes I tried. I can’t add by upload, url tag, or any other way.
I need to troubleshoot the matter at a later time. For now an even rating is all I can give.

I have used many different sliders on clients’ sites, but this one is by far the easiest to customize. The developer is very quick to respond to questions and very helpful!
I can’t wait to see what the developer does to improve this ??

This is a good slider that offers skin and output options that I couldn’t find in any other jquery plugin (Specifically titles to the side with corresponding slides) It gets the job done well and very customizable. Fast support too.

5 preset skins, nice work.
the dare-serpent skin, shows up with a scrollbar …? not for purpose i suppose ??
After looking for 2 days, finally a real nice slider, – thx.

Overall a 8/10.
Would be a 9 if the slider auto-rotated on the Vania Skin.
Thanks for the great plugin!

I’ve created the first version of plugin about 2 months, when I host it here much of bugs were, but I fixed it in a little time, thanks for first users that catch these bugs=)
Very much ideas from users and from me now, I’ll do the plugin much better!
Now I rate my plugin just for 4 stars because I know that the plugin can be much better and will be.
Thanks for all users!

A nice plugin, easy to use, installed with 4 differents skins which make integration faster.
No many skins customizations in admin settings yet, but a very helpfull developer ??
LenSlider is a perfect slider plugin for ones who want a nice slider, the ability to put only one or more sliders on several pages or posts, with no many frills, and a shortcode button in the wysiwyg editor.
I’m waiting for update and more customizations ! ??

I’ve tried and used many slider plugins for WordPress, one that I’ve paid good money for too, and by far this is my favorite! It’s clean, it’s simple, and it’s very easy to use. Oh, and it’s free! It’s also fast! Fast loading on my blog landing page, and it’s not taxing the server like so many other slider plugins I’ve used.
You can multiple instances on a page or in a post. There’s also a button in the post editor to add a LenSlider short code to your post. Nice!
The developer is very good at support. Quick to answer questions and help resolve issues.
Can’t wait to see how LenSlider improves over time and what features might get added.
If you’re looking for a no frills slider, that just works … look no further. ??
