Hi. I have used this plugin before and it’s been great – thanks for making it available and the great work.
However, now that Elementor has added the ‘Optimised DOM Output’ experiment – I have found that when this is enabled, the plugin no longer works for backgrounds on Columns. seems to still the be ok on Sections.
A fix would be great, otherwise I think the performance gain from lazy loading bk images is probably greater than that of the ‘Optimised DOM Output’ output.

I need to know; when will you update it?
]]>Hi,
How do I skip lazy loading for certain images and backgrounds?
I am using elementor and want to test this feature as as WP Rocket has problems with lazy loading certain background images.
]]>Hi there,
It appears your plugin is no longer working with the latest version of Elementor, is this correct?
I have also tried the method posted by @florisb in another thread, which unfortunately did not work either.
What would you recommend in order to allow Elementor background images (applied to columns) to be lazy loaded?
]]>I use JetPopup on the site where I have this plugin loaded. The image in my popup is not loading while this is active. When I disable it and reload the site, the image is there.
Otherwise, everywhere else on my Elementor driven site that I am using images in columns, etc. This is working great!
]]>Hello!
I know that Pro widget “Slides” use images as background. But i not sure, that your plugin help me. So, are you (or somebody) tested plugin with this widget?
You were write “The CSS hides all backgrounds on all non-animated sections and columns.” Is it means that images not download when opening page?
By the way, in widget using setting Ken Burns Effect.
Thank you.
]]>Hello James,
I want to thank you for this amazing plugin, it’s very cool and saving our website a lot of loading time.
The problem now is we recently went from a standard homepage that links to other pages (https://www.neolondonarts.com/en/home/) to a simple one page design where visitors land straight in the product archive page (https://www.neolondonarts.com/en/) It almost looks the same but the major change is the archive at the bottom. On the old page, the backgrounds are lazy loading fine, but in the archive they don’t…
Can you help me solve this please?
]]>For some reason my site is not working with your plugin. I really want to lazyload images for Elementor. https://mandalayfl.com/ is the url. You can see that it is not lazyloading. https://gtmetrix.com/reports/mandalayfl.com/OSGMXS2n. Resources are being added. I went through the checklist, this is Elementor, Astra theme, everything updated to latest. Its loading the waypoints apparently too. I have tried deactivating the SG Cache and Autoptize and it didn’t make a difference.
]]>Hi
i used it in my website https://www.codehaveli.com/ but it did not work can you please check https://prntscr.com/ue9iu1 and https://prntscr.com/ue9jx3
First off, thank you for this plugin James.
It works fine for the backgrounds images in Elementor, however Elementor also has an overlay background. Can you add this selector to the plugin?
The class is:
.elementor-background-overlay
the class with image background is added through the elementor here:

Hello,
Can you make it work for the media carousel plugin of Elementor? It does not work currently.
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
Does this also work for video backgrounds that you put in with Elementor?
For example a YouTube video? There is no need that the video starts loading, it has to start when the user is scrolling near the view entry of that section.
Hi,
I’m looking for a lazyload plugin that also works for background images. My site was recently built with Elementor.
First, I tried Autoptimize built-in lazyload feature and it works for regular Webp images but not for background images. And then disabled it and installed your plugin. I still get PSI Deffer offscreen images issue for both Webp and background images.
Any idea?
]]>Hey
Thanks for this plugin. Something that should be native to Elementor.
For some reason, when activating the plugin, the background images no longer appear at all.
I have cleared all caches. (On Litespeed server with LS cache, also behind Cloudflare).
Any suggestions?
]]>Hello team,
I installed this plugin on my site because some of the background images by Elementor were not getting Lazy Load and I was getting a warning in PSI to “Defer offscreen images”. However, even after activating this plugin the problem remains the same.
PSI warning:https://prnt.sc/rm9db1
Let me know if you can help!
Thanks!
