Great way to track modification dates of posts on my blog on the admin side while giving the option of putting it on a post. I like that you can control if the modified date shows up by inserting the shortcode but it doesn’t do it automatically. Some posts I don’t want the modified date to be inserted if I’m fixing a typo or something similar.

Works overall as intended, but would be nice if plugin by default could use the date format already defined in the WP settings.
Would then appear correct in Admin, and also no need having to alter this for each shortcode used.

I’m looking forward to upcoming versions of this plugin. It’s really simple to use – just install & activate, then go to the post or page listings in the admin area. Voila! A new sortable column, showing the date of the last update. Makes keeping the site up to date much easier!

Great job!
This plugin adds a missing WP feature, especially for sites where several users are editing pages/posts and you need to now when this last happened.
I don’t really understand why this is not part of core, but I would also suggest – if possible – to add the author of the last edit. Same problem here: WP not only displays just the date of initial publication but also the initial author only. It would really be extra-great if we could also get the author that has last modified a page/post!

This is a feature that I feel WordPress needs to integrate into the core files. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked at a page after loads of edits thinking “Wait….how long has that update message been there?”
As of writing, all features work perfectly for WP 4.2.2.
