Hi,
I was wondering if the plugins konnichiwa, moolamojo and namaste lms, support wordpress multisite.
]]>Hi! Thanks for the plugin! Everything seems to be working fine restricting content but there’s an issue with the Paypal payment. When you successfully pay with “Check out as guest with credit or Visa” and click on “Return to Merchant” it takes you to a Paypal broken link hence the payment is passed but the user is not added to the membership.
]]>i need to change the text instead of “This content is available only for users with the following subscription plans: Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly, 3 Quarter, Yearly” as subscribe to view all the features. pls help this
]]>Hi There,
Installed Konnichiwa just fine. The short-code displays the subscribe button correctly. After clicking it shows the message you have been subscribed, but does not load the rest of the page or provide a link to return to the page you came from. There is no way out other than to reload manually or use back-buttons on the browser. Is this the intended behaviour of the plugin? Thanks
Hi!
I have several courses on my site and want users with a specific subscription plan to access a specific course. I created relevant plans. I am trying to restrict the access to namaste_course by category, but only one category is available: Uncategorized. What and where should I change?
]]>I am building a new subscription based site that includes the Namaste! Pro LMS system.
How do the Konnichiwa! subscription plans relate to the Namaste! Pro user groups/classes?
In other words, when a “Premimum” level subscriber (under Konnichiwa!) registers for a Namaste! course they need to see only the courses that are available to the “Premium” level subscribers.
Is there an online resource that I can refer to that covers the inter-relationship between Konnichiwa’s subscription plans and Namaste!’s user/groups?
]]>Hi, I have Konnichiwa subscriptions setup and running good on all areas of my site except for one web page. The page is set to only allow users with subscription plans to view it, but someone without a subscription plan can still access all the content on the page!
I have checked, and doubled checked.. Flushed caches and all that, and still its wide open. Please assist!
]]>Hi Konnichiwa,
My site is buddypress registration, login, member profile, members page, etc.
How can the paypal/payments will recognize individual member or Free/Gold level? I don’t see anything I can set to integrate with the buddypress member, etc?
Do this plugin will work with buddypress? Can you explain how can the member level work?
Please advise help, thanks
]]>Just letting you know that when a member updates their subscription (canceling), it prints the MySQL statement at the top of the page…
“UPDATE wp_konnichiwa_subscriptions SET status=2 WHERE id=1 AND user_id=1”
??
]]>Hello,
I recently downloaded Konnichiwa and I’m liking the functionality thus far.
However, I notice that when I set a post to be restricted to a certain subscription plan, its title and metadata still appear in the blog page and in search results, with only the content showing up as “restricted.”
I am wondering if it is possible to prevent this kind of restricted content from showing up at all when called by a page template (such as the “blog posts” page).
I am considering telling my template to only show the posts that return null on the get_access
function but I am not sure how to implement that, or if that is the best way to accomplish what I need.
Thank you in advance for any insight you may have on this matter.
]]>I am trying to install Konnichiwai plugin to my site and I don’t know how to unzip and upload.
I mainly see php files, I don’t see any zip files
Also, when I clicked on the POT file it said that there is an error and maybe file has been damaged or built on a pre-release version of powerpoint
Dear support,
I just installed konnichiwa as the subscription module.
And its working.
If I need the email sending to the student after they choose the course by click cubscribe now button, is it possible ? If yes, how to do it ?
thx
]]>Hey
Thanks for the plugin. Keep it Simple approach is great.
However it does not work properly with BBpress.
Say I have two forums: Open to all users and Paid.
In the edit forum page for Paid I click only accessible by those subscribed to Paid plan.
However when I am in the front end and click on the forums index page. That page displays the “This content is available only for users with the following subscription plans: Paid Plan”. In other words, access to all forums is blocked.
Also on your Content Restrictions page, if I tick the forum box and then Restrict by Category, the list that appears contains post categories, not a list of forums or forum topics.
Also is it possible to change the design of the buy with Pay Pal button.
Thanks in advance for advance for any assistance.
Kind Regards
Max
]]>is there any mechanism for dealing with subscription upgrades.
For example. I a user has paid for subscription package 1 at a cost of £10 and wishes to upgrade to subscription package 2, normally costing £15 – the upgrade price should be the difference between the two £5 not the full £15
Is it possible to auto enroll users to particular courses, based on their Konnichiwa subscription plan.
If this is not possible could you recommend a different membership plugin that works well with Namaste Pro and also has this functionality.
]]>I love this plugin and how it works with Namaste.
But I want to build a recurring monthly subscription that does not end until the user stops paying/cancels.
So far I can’t figure out if Konnichiwa can do this? I see one month as an option, but not monthly…
Thank you-
Wanted another/second option for subscription of plan for expiration.
Wanted option that admin / moderator can set a particular date (Pop calendar is suggested ) on which a particular plan is expired.
For example,
A plan labeled “Mid-April,2016” plan will expire on 15 April,2016.So all registered users in this plan can access content till 15 April,2015 only, irrespective of when they subscribed to this plan. They registered on different -different date but content will be available till 15 April,2016 only to subscriber of this plan.
In this regard admin/moderator can have two option either “Duration” (1 month / 6 month / 1 year etc.) or on the particular “Date” (15 April,2016 / 15 October,2015 etc.)
So now system will have two option for setting for plan expiration “Duration” or on the particular “Date”.
So now in system will have two types of plan,
some plans expire after equal duration for all users.
Some plans expire On the particular date.
Hello Konnichiwa Developer,
So far the plugin works great: Simple, fast and easy to use.
After the installation a few questions came up:
1) How do you make the subscription plan duration until a user cancels their plan? Right now you have to put in a value which shows up on the selection page. Instead of plan 1 valid for 2000 months I would like to say plan 1 valid until you cancel. Is that possible.
2) It says in the documentation ‘Free “trial” plans are also supported.’. How does that work?
Thanks.
Robert
]]>Hi!
I want to add a custom payment gateway to the plugin. Is there any documentation regarding this?
]]>Hi!
It’s a really nice plugin so thanks! I just wanted to make a suggestion. It’ll be great if you could put a custom currency option like the one in Namaste! LMS so that we could set a custom currency in case the currency one needs is not among those listed.
Other than that, great plugin
]]>I have installed konnichiwa and it is so far one of the simplest contect access plugins I have found (two thumbs up for that). But once I installed it I started getting 504 pages. This is not consistent with what is on the page since I can get the 504 on the login as much as i get it on a single post.
I would really appreciate some guidnance on this as I am fairly certain this is an issue on my side.
Some things that might be of note:
1- The categories are not being read by Konnichiwa so trying to set a rule by category only shows the uncategorized category
2- I am running this on a local virtual machine as I am testing several plugins to see how they sit together
3- I have done no special configuration to cKonnichiwa besides creating two subscription plans.
4- The plugins I have running at the time of the test are buddypress, thumb rating, socializer, eventmanager, and wpMandrill
Is a payment required, or can we restrict access to various levels we set manually?
]]>I need to integrate this plugin with payUMoney gateway.
Can anybody help, please?
]]>If I’d like to set up a membership site where, for $20 a month, people can download as many videos as they want.
So…
Membership level – looks like this’ll work.
Payment through Stripe – still lookin’ great.
Functions and code – seems pretty good.
Now, how do I protect my content (in my case it’d be .mp4 files that would probably land in the /uploads folder) from being hijacked and folks finding the ‘protected’ content?
Thanks!
Every time a user enters their card info into stripe it doesnt process the payment all the way. It just refreshes the page and that page is now blank. It would seem like my site doesnt send the token back to stripe to process the payment. How do I make sure it does that?
Im in test mode and copy/pasted the right keys into the right places. Also use the right test card numbers.
What is the webhook url that I enter into stripe or how do I find that out?
Should the subscription plans auto populate in stripe after i create them in your plugin? If not, is the plan ID the same as the name?
PS: I am a rookie, so if you start talking about php blah blah blah, I dont know what that is.
Thanks in advance
I just installed and activated Namaste! LMS and Konnichiwa! but cannot see Konnichiwa! in the Admin Menu.
I am testing it on an offline install using XXAMP on Windows XP with SP3. I am using all the latest versions (WordPress 3.9.1, Konnichiwa! 0.7.1 and also Namaste! LMS 1.3.9). I am using the latest Revera WordPress Theme.
I can see Namaste! LMS and My Courses in the Admin left menu but cannot see Konnichiwa!. I have tried deactivating and reinstalling the plugin after downloading it again, but I still cannot see it.
Hello,
thanks for Konnichiwa!
1. English backend is fine, but is there a translation in German for the visible English terms at the frontend (Subscription Plan, Valid Price, days, subscribe (button) etc.)?
Or where could I make these changes?
2. Do you plan to provide functionality that people who are not registered at WP can register, too?
Thanks again!
Thomas
