Love this plugin, it looks really good.
I really want to use your plugin with a locally hosted nextclient.js, what files does one need to install to accomplish that?
I can see where in your plugin I would need to change it (e.g. BASE_URL for example) but when I download the kiwi irc client files for example, I do not see any nextclient.js file
Do I need to download something else? The wordpress plugin is basically just the client right, or do I need the web socket server as well ?
Thank you!

Many thanks for your help!

]]>Hello,
Whatever port I enter, the connection to the irc server always goes to 6697
In the settings of KiwiChat NextClient, it says that it has been changed, but when I give the user whois in the irc server, I see that he is on 6697. I tried with different ports, but it always connects me to 6697 by default.
Thank you,

]]>Hello,
Our network is located in a country that uses the Cyrillic alphabet ( CP-1251 encoding ). After connecting from the Kiwi client, everything comes out in hieroglyphs. My question is how can this be fixed? The wordpress plugin is very good congrats for that. Saves a lot of work.
Thank you!

]]>I’m hosting the IRC server on the same system the HTTP server is on. I can’t seem to connect with either localhost, 127.0.0.1 or either of those with :+6697
Does this not support connecting via IP in the backend?
]]>I just get a perpetual Connecting… when I try to connect via kiwichat, but I know the server is connectable because I’m on it in mIRC. Appreciate your assistance
]]>Hey! I love KiwiChat and this plugin is excellent. I am not an experienced web dev so I am sorry if this is a stupid question.
I am going to have a community that really loves their emotes/smileys. When I entered Advanced Settings and set my emojiLocation, it shows broken images even though I put in the correct path, and it then resets itself to the default. Is there a way for this to be possible? Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you so much!
]]>I noticed that on mobile devices that use chrome the window display is compressed and suddenly enlarged when selecting any field to write.
If I select the nick field, to insert the nick or any other field where I have to type, suddenly the window WIDENS sporopically and it becomes impossible to chat, since immediately after writing something you have to make it smaller, in order to read.
How can this thing be solved? P.S.
I noticed that it is not a problem with the plugin itself, but even if I use a kiwiirc iframe, the same thing happens, but all this only with mobile chrome.
Anyone know how to fix this annoying thing?
Hi, can we set up password protected channels to make them private?
Do you support encrypted chats?
Is there a way so that you can use the logged in WordPress Username ?
]]>Hey,
tried to implement this on our website, but as soon as 2 people try to chat at the same time, we get the
Closing Link: freddie2-tes[[email protected]] (Too many host connections (global))
message. This is probably server related but is there a solution in the plugin code we can use ? change the ‘unknown’ value with something random every time ?
Thank you
