Nein, Danke.

I am using the plugin for a few months now, and I am very happy. I primarily use it for the rich snippet googol indexing, but the themes are beautiful and create a great addition to my site. So far I have added about 30 recipes with no issues.

breaks the editor in wordpress 3.9 and I had to deactivate it – pity as I have recipes on the site and planning to add more – need this fixed ??

I thought this was a great plugin until I realized that my food posts weren’t going under the appropriate menu button. I had StudioPress trying to fix my site then we realized that the KitchenBug plugin was the problem. The tags and categories from my recipe posts were gone! Hundreds of them. It took days to get things back together but removing this plug in fixed the problem. Repairing the damage was very time-consuming. Went back to EasyRecipe which now doesn’t work since the WordPress update to v3.6.
Looks like I should bite the bullet and just type my recipes in until someone comes up with a good plugin.
FRUSTRATED!

I love this plugin! It took me a bit to get it working but the developer was amazing quick to respond which got me up and running. This will be a 5-star app as it updates its ingredient database (which is does frequently) and adds features. Whether you’re a food blogger or just keeping track of recipes you create while you diet (like me), I highly recommend it. It saves me a ton of time from having to calculate all that nutrition info myself.

Works fine for me with wordpress 3.5 and several themes i’ve tried,
looks much better than the competitors.
I wonder what new features will be added in the next versions.

Kitchenbug is awesome.
I’ve been searching for a long time for a quick a easy way to get nutrition data for my recipes, and a better recipe display for my blog.
Kitchenbug’s recipe editing interface is simple and fast – and the nutrition report just works. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s amazing.
The recipe display is great, with the built in conversion tools and recipe printing. It saved me a ton of work.
I can’t believe no one has thought of this sooner.
I love it.

I installed Kitchenbug about a month ago. It seemed fine, the nutrition analysis goes on top of the recipe which makes the recipe look like an afterthought. But, I could deal with that. However, I didn’t notice at first that the tags on all my new posts were disappearing. I would enter the tags and when I saved, updated, or published, the tags would be wiped clean. Then, one day, my photos started disappearing. First, it was just one post that all the photos disappeared. After that, it was a second post. And, the photos were actually deleted from the media library. I tried everything I could think of, even uploading the photos multiple times, and reinstalling WordPress, updating my browser, etc. After much hard work, I figured out the problems started at the same time I installed Kitchenbug. When I emailed the company, they said they were aware of the problem. What?!? you mean you knew about this problem and never bothered to notify anyone that this may be a potential issue they may encounter! This is not the kind of company I can trust if they keep major issues hidden from people. I do not recommend this plugin because of the major bugs in it, as well as the poor service in keeping their bugs hidden. ??

I’m a computer geek who loves to cook. I downloaded and entered a few recipes and was amazed to see that I got nutrition information on my recipes. Very nice!

I’m starting a new cooking blog and checked a few recipe plugins and this one gives me exactly what I wanted. The themes are great – I easily created my own theme. Also, changing the number of portions is very helpful. It’s still a beta version and clearly has some issues, but I’m gonna use it on my new blog!

Don’t download this plugin because you can’t use it unless you join kitchenbug and of course you can’t so the plugin should not be in the wordpress directory.

Looks like it could be good when it gets out of Beta. I liked that I just typed ingredients and amounts and it figured out what was what. But it did not recognise Quark, crashed once on loading a photo and then did not display the recipe in my post just a short code snippet which should have triggered the inclusion I am guessing.
Looks good on paper and features but I am deleting it and looking for another plugin now.

Would be nice if it supports more themes, but other than that – perfect! It gives a reader a user experience I have never seen before.
