Here’s the short version:
After a few site changes (“WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)”), re-connecting to Keyy by scanning the QR code in my dashboard no longer works.
After some site changes, I can no longer connect to the keyy app by scanning the QR code from my dashboard, which means I cannot login by scanning the keyy wave (old way still works (username + password)).
How can I solve this? Keyy is very convenient (when it works).
Keyy version: 1.2.0
Keyy still works for another other site of mine, but not this one.
Good morning,
I can’t log in to my website administrator page via Keyy. I am no longer offered to enter my login and password. There is only the QR code that appears on my login page. And when I scan it with the app, the app closes and I can’t log in. I also tried with another device: my ipad and it does exactly the same thing.
Last week it was impossible for me to receive the confirmation email after entering my username and password. Today it is impossible for me to scan the QrCode or simply to connect using the form (which no longer appears).
I also tried with the backup link I had saved, to be able to connect without Keyy, but without success.
This is my professional website and I can no longer access it.
Can you help me please ?
Thanks in advance,
Ju
I’ve used Keyy for years. It’s always worked well. But recently, it’s started doing odd things. I’ve had to deactivate it via FTP (by renaming it) so that I can log in normally.
I tried using the bypass link – says username and password are incorrect. But if I disable it, then the username and pass are clearly correct as I can log in.
For a number of months before this, keyy would scan the barcode, log me in, then say call failed. But it was logging me in just fine. So I don’t know if the two things are connected. Plugin is the latest version – according to the updater.
Version: 0.9.0
Would love to get it working again, so any help would be appreciated.

]]>Good day,
I have been using Keyy as a two-step authencitator to login onto the backside of my website. It worked great! For two weeks I am unable to login using the app and therefor I dont have access to the backside of my website anymore.
The app shows me the message: You have not yet connected Keyy to this website.’
I cannot login to use the plugin to reconnect the app.
Could anyone help me on this matter?

I can’t login anymore.
Yesterday I renewed my Keyy account, by making a new one (with another emailaders). I deleted the old one. Now I can’t login anymore. What can I do?

I have 5 websites linked to Keyy. They used to be working fine until today. On the backend of the WordPress website, it says that I am connected, but when I try to login on the front end, it says that my website is not connected. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. To get back into my website, I have to disable the plugin via ftp. Any help or processes that I can try is appreciated.

I’ve been trying to log in to my site after a back up restore from trying to fix another issue. key works initially, I get the green login call successful notification, and then an error message pops up saying “unexpected response received”. My phone then goes red and says call support, which isn’t helpful as I can’t find a phone number.
I can’t login to my site any other way, I have tried logging in with a password, but I then get a message saying I have set the site to log in with Keyy only. So how do I get back in to my site?

]]>I have a site that uses Keyy login, and it works without issue between my Samsung devices. I tried to add another user to the Keyy login, so that she can do work on the site that I built for her, but when she downloaded the app on her Iphone, it didn’t allow her to log in on her laptop, but instead, directly on her phone. On top of that, once I clicked disconnect to let her scan the code with her phone, so that she could be connected, the login scan option for that particular site disappeared completely from the app on my phone, leaving me with no way to login myself, until I scanned the code (that was on her phone screen) with my phone. I was not able to log in while she was logged in, either. I have since given her a username of her own, but I don’t see any instructions for enabling multiple users at once. It only says “have users log in”. I don’t have premium, but would like to get some instructions on how to manually add users so that both of us can log in without issues, and easily edit the content on my site. How can I do this? Thanks!

When I use the “normal” wp login and I close my browser, I am not logged in anymore: next time I go to my site the password is asked again. This is not the case after installing Keyy and loggin in with Keyy. Is this standard or am I doing something wrong?
thanks !

The plugin is activated and working, but thought I would let you know there is a possible breakdown

]]>How can I log in with Keyy while using the WordPress iPhone app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wordpress/id335703880?mt=8)? When I try adding my site that has Keyy enabled, it shows me the regular login prompt and my username and password do not work. I would expect this (since they should be replaced by the Keyy 2FA), but I don’t see a workaround for authenticating with Keyy.

]]>Hi,
I love your plugin, at least what I could read. However, I have not been able to prove it effectively. I have several websites under construction where I would like to install this plugin (its Ultimate plan) but on the one hand I use Elementor Pro to create a personalized login form more integrated to the themes and on some other website I use modal windows for the login. There are short codes or another way that I can integrate you plugin?
Thank you
]]>Hi, I installed KEYY on 2 of my sites to test and evaluate.
On the one mentioned above it did not work as the proposed user at the bottom – was only a part of the full username- I don′t know why this happened.
When I scan the code and try to login and choose the proposed user it does not work(of course) but if I enter the correct user using the keyboard, it still does not work. After 3 attemps I am being locked out (a function in the plugin Wordfence I use)
Now I can′t log in neither manually the old way OR using KEYY, and it is VERY frustrating
Note- that I am not using the default URL for login
I’ve been messing around with htaccess and managed to stop Keyy working.
Also sorted now, but the Android app throws an error about REST API might be disabled & “please” is spelt wrong in the error message.
