Hello,

I keep getting this error at the last step of setting up the plugin. I have deactivated all of the plugins to make sure there isn’t a conflict. I am still getting this error.

Do you know what the issue could be?

This has now happened twice. Once on a localhost install using Laragon and once on a zipwp install. In each case there were either no or very few other plugins installed. The sites were brand new, spun up for testing the AI of Kadence.

I was able to click on the “view starter templates” link under the plugin name in Dashboard>Plugins. I went all the way through the setup until the last step and then got:

Error, Unable to access template database, please try re-loading the page.Sync with Cloud

Going back to Dashboard>Plugins and clicking the same link immediately gave the same error message. Reloading the page had no effect.

The localhost site did not have SSL. The zipwp site did.

Based on the questions being asked, it looks like this should create a pretty good site and would be a useful tool. I can’t quite get there, though.

Once I have saved defaults for an accordion/tab, How can I reapply those defaults to other existing instances?

I have tried every fix i can possibly find. no matter what i do i get this error “Error, Unable to access template database, please try re-loading the page.” I am using kadence ai starter templates on 3 other sites. I have installed and set everything up the same way every time. I’m at a complete loss after 3 days of troubleshooting. I’m completely disheartened and ready to give up. first i couldn’t get woocommerce to work with the ai templates. finally couldn’t take it and deleted the whole site and started over. now no starter templates load at all. I just don’t know what to do anymore. at least last time i had a site loading. now i’m back to square one.

When you refresh the page, the images are not displayed and loaded correctly!

A gray square appears above the image before it is displayed.

Hi,

I use “Soap Shop” starter template.

I want to set the “Title Above Content Background” color to #222222 but it’s not applied correctly!

It seems like there is a persistent overlay or something. The output color isn’t #222222.

I’ve applied the code :

text-align: center;

to all the CSS classes available in the browser inspection, but none of them work.

In the customizer, I don’t see a place to do it. How can I do it correctly?

I’d like to change only this part without touching the other footer widgets.

A web dev here trying to switch to Kadence from other themes and builders.

We’ve started a site using another builder and wish to try Kadence with the Template Starter. We see many references that one “may” lose data if one installs a K template on an existing site.

We’d very much like to change direction for the development of this particular website by using a Kadence Template.

Can you share with us what could be overwritten please? A bit more tech details and implication so we can understand please? Cheers!

Hi there,

I’ve been trying to install a Kadence starter template (Interior) on a blank project since last evening.

I have installed the plugin, it shows in my Appearances section beneath Kadence just as it is supposed to.

BUT: If I click on it, there’s just a blank page. The Kadence logo blips up shortly in the upper left corner, but then it dissapears quickly again.

If I try to access it directly via the Plugin page, and click “View Template Library”, the same blank page appears.

I’m hosting the page on our Synology DS214+ with WordPress 5.8.3-0177.

I’d be grateful for any help – thank you!

I have installed the Kadence theme and installed the Online course theme a few times in attempt for it to load with all the styling but no luck. I get all the text and pictures but not the styling. I can of course style it all from scratch, it’s not that difficult but my concern is that something goes wrong with the install and will cause more problems down the line.

All tutorials I watched resulted in the full design being on the page after the install. My website is on LearnDash cloud and I’ve chosen the same template as used in the tutorials but i’m getting very different result. This template was also developed with/for LearnDash specifically.

hello experts, so I have forgotten how to Customize the appearance of the drop-down menu icon, normal should be three horizontal bars but I have changed it to three dots vertical placed with a name placer to the left, have forgotten how I managed to do this because now I want to change it back. Hi, I��m using Lifter LMS with a kadence theme. The problem I got is that when I search for a lesson, in the results page, only the title appears without showing to which course it belongs to. I already have the category option turned on and I’m almost sure that the lessons are within a category (course). I’m wondering if there is something i can do so that the course displays as a category in the search results page.

I installed the kadence theme and installed the starter templates plugin, but not all templates are showing. In instruction video’s and on https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/starter-templates/ there are a lot more templates showing then I get to see in the plugin. I already tried disabling plug-ins, refreshing the page in the starter templates plugin, but nothing seems to work. On a different WordPress site i do see all the templates. Both are on the latest WordPress version (6.1.1).

Just to clarify- can I use a starter template on an existing website that already has many posts/pages? Would it just be a case of starter content getting mixed with existing content and I’ll just need to made edits once start template is installed? Nothing happens to existing content ? (i.e. gets deleted)

Hi,

I installed a single page from one of your starter templates (the home page of “Heather’s Kitchen”, it also installed a plugin called “Recipe Card Blocks by WPZOOM”) and the customise page is now completely blank.

I tried disabling ALL the plugins, then deleting them, then disabling Kadence, deleting it and re-installing it. Nothing helps.

I don’t know enough to dig into the code of my site to find the problem.

Please can you help — I really don’t want to have to rebuild my website all over again. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I need help! I am not a programmer. I have a site on Astra. I was trying to try the free template and accidentally applied it to my website. Now my site is gone. There is just a new theme with a free template. I make a backup, but it doesn’t help. How can I get back what the theme was before I downloaded it?

When I import a starter template will I be overwriting the live site or will I be importing into an inactive state which I can then preview and customize prior to making it live? The dialogue on import stopped me in my tracks because it made it feel like it was instantly going to overwrite everything and be live after import which is not something I would ever want to do with any theme unless it was literally a brand new and otherwise unpublished website. I would really like to try some starter templates but I need some clarity on this end of it please before I can feel comfortable doing anything with it.

I tried to change the hero image of the original starter template of Kadence,

edit section > background > Background type: classic > select the image from my computer

the console of elementor showed what i changed, but when i updated it, it was blank on my website.
Then I made a new section, and added a background image. The same issue happened. The image looked okay in elementor’s console, but gone blank when I viewed it from my domain name.

This bothered me couple days. Hope I can get it solved here.

?Hello, I’ve tried to import kadence starter templates into my WordPress website. But the problem is while importing the templates its shows like import is complete! and down that error: Error (503) Like this. I’ve tried to install the starter template by deactivating all the plugins,

Then I’ve tried to do the same on different WordPress websites that are hosted on different platforms. But still the problem is the same.
I would like to try the pro version of kadence but I’m not sure whether it works. Please help me to reslove this?
