Hi, thanks for the cool plugin! However, I completely hide the WP Admin Bar for my logged in users and therefore need a way to place the language switcher somewhere on the page or in a menu. Is there a way to do this? Can you create one? Thank you!

Hi, I previously did a version of this plugin supporting language switching for users who are not logged in, simply by using a cookie pll_language (compatible with Polylang).
Noting the recent updates I was going to reapply the change to updated version: having re-found the github project I wondered whether you would welcome a pull request for this.
– Normally I’d submit an issue on github to propose but the issues seem to be turned off on the project so thought I’d mention it here.

As others have said, great plugin for sure!
I am having an issue where wordpress core items switch language but the plugins and themes dont when language is selected. I have all the po/mo uploaded but still nothing. I even tried creating mo/po files for english and uploading with relevant file names for each plugin and theme but still doesnt work. Are plugins supposed to switch too if the translations files are present??

I have a suggestion:

Please rename dinamically the menu name “default” to real name of default language. This is in my case is “English”.

Also please rename “Default Locale” in similar way.

This plugin is awesome.
However, I would like to change the names of menu titles or even add flag images on toolbar instead of titles.
There is another issue : the title does not appear in mobile device. So, there is no possibility to change the language in mobile device.
