Right out of the box, this plugin creates a nice-looking countdown calendar. I used this on a military reunion website to count the months, weeks, days, and hours until the reunion started.

Easy to configure – works great.
Made my website come alive.
Great Job.

The plugin works as expected, no errors or bugs found so far.
Easily customizable: I needed to adapt the style to my site’s theme and fonts, but I didn’t have any trouble at all changing the fonts, colors and shapes with a few lines of css.
Very easy to use: the shortcode allows it to work anywhere, so I could place it in the new Gutenberg block editor and make everything work in a few seconds.
Thanks!

Lack of basic interface within WordPress, Setting page is useless and the sidebar they show can not be found. Hello?
]]>Rating: 2 stars
Installed … first gripe: month and day is swapped when specifying the date. Convention is month-day-year, not day-month-year. If you’re going to buck convention let people know upfront. Non-issue really. Here’s my major gripe:
Did a short code version. Reading the instructions it looks like it’s intended only for sidebar use. I want it big to show when my site will be live. No way it seems to do that. Clicked on the documentation link … did a search for “size”… nothing. Looked throug the plugin page … nothing there either.
I suspect there’s a way to do that, but as it was neither intuitive, obvious, or even discoverable after looking in the instructions, searching the instructions. thptpt. Nice code I’m sure, but if I can’t make something work in 3 minutes or less I move on. Life is too short.

I thought the timer was working perfectly as it was counting down correctly on my website when I viewed it. However I was informed by customers of mine in France and US that the timer had already reached zero hours before the time I had set it. It seems to count down differently depending on what timezone you’re in, rendering the whole thing useless! This plugin has wasted me time and money, which for a free plugin shouldn’t be too much to complain about, but I wanted to warn other people not to use it for something serious like a product launch on your website because it will lose you customers! Whoops.

Easy, works well, don’t know why the 1 star folks are griping. Install, grab the short code from the documentation or use the widget and it’s running, easy-peezy. Excellent work, guys. Now you need a donation button or upgrade button on the settings interface.

This plugin is just to advertise the premium, that is, using WP site to promote a purchase.

Just wanted to take the time and say that plugin works a treat! It’s the only one that fulfills my clients technical needs and most importantly, the premium support that I’ve received from Plugin Oven/Twin pictures is second to none! They communicated with me through email very promptly, help me set it up, and fixed any issues or concerns I had in a snap.
Can’t really praise these guys enough, I highly recommend this plugin and their service.
Many thanks!

I definitely would recommend!!

Very useful plugin, exactly what I needed for counting up, great support.

It works great but trying to add your own CSS was really not a piece of cake. The HTML structure of the timer made it hard to customize. If the digits had been in a div, it would be so much easier!
]]>Rating: 4 stars
Works great and customisation is a sinch if you are CSS savvy. Only marked down to 4* as (1) there’s no option to customise the separator and (2) the plugin’s stylesheet loads after the theme (_s) so you need to hack the plugin css to override the styles or get stuck into functions.php and unregister stuff.
This said, you won’t find a better countdown timer, I’ve tried! Out of the box greatness. Thank you!

very beautiful plugin
it’s free and it’s possible to countdown or countup
after try more of ten countdown plugins, this one is the best

This is a straight-forward, very efficient countdown plugin that looks nice (use Jedi if you’re not so sure about the Star Wars theme — it’s plain white) and is easy to adjust to your needs.

Make sure you’re using a responsive style if that is important to you. Most of theirs are, but I was using one that wasn’t and that gave me layout problems–but a post to the support pages provide a quick response that helped solve my problems ??
