Does anyone know how I could set the Scroll offset from top?

What I want is that when I go to the anchor, it stays 30px before the anchor.

Hello. Is this plugin still maintained?

Lets say you have several same page anchor links to the different headings in your article.. You link to them #1st section, #2nd section, #conclusion etc..

Thing is, with this plugin enabled, 1 word anchors like #conclusion don’t appear in the address bar when clicked, but multiple word ones do! But if you join the multi word anchors with a hyphen for example then they also don’t appear in the address bar when clicked so you end up with ZERO anchor links appearing in the address bar.

#conclusion (Doesn’t appear in address bar when clicked, has smoothscroll)
#the conclusion (Does appear in address bar when clicked, no smoothscroll)
#the-conclusion (Doesn’t appear in address bar when clicked, has smoothscroll)

So in order to use this plugin you have to join all your multi word anchors with a hyphen & forget about having your anchors appear in the address bar. Single word anchors work with smoothscroll right away but they don’t appear in the address bar.

Question is.. With all your anchors joined with hyphens so they scroll and none of them appearing in the address bar when clicked, does this cost you search engine indexing of these links? Also visitors won’t be able to grab the link for the section they are currently viewing.

Any advice would be good.. I don’t want to lose the seo benefit of my anchor links.

Hi, I have your plugin working great with regular anchor links, but I’m currently trying to get it to work with an image map.

I have the image map at the top of the page with hotspots to different sections of the article below. When I click a hotspot it does not smooth scroll, but it does smooth scroll back to the top of the page.

The image map plugin I’m using is “ImageLinks”.

Thank you for your making this great plug-in.

I found this plug-in today and I installed to my WordPress.

It works very well in desktop PC web browser.

But it does not work in mobile device
(My mobile device is Android phone, I used Chrome browser in my mobile).

My wordpress URL is https://e-sue.com

and I used the anchor link in 3rd menu, “???” in Korea.

Any small comment would be helpful to me.

Is it possible to add a target offset for Smooth Scroll? I’d like the #id link to scroll the user 100 pixels above the target element. Thanks!

I’d like to have the url #update. when I smooth scroll within the same page my url only reflects my first visit as oppose to the last place I have been.

If I enter a page my url is #section1. I can smooth scroll to #section2 but my url does not change.

It would be nice if the url address updates with every click.

I cannot change the image of the arrow
I have overwrite it in ftp with my own image, so the link could stay the same.
But i doesn’t change. Also i tried it with another image name and changed the link name too. But no luck. Am i missing something?

If jquery-smooth-scroll is enabled on a BuddyPress installation, all the comment buttons stop working.
Normally the comment button causes a comment form to slide down, however this stops working if jquery-smooth-scroll is enabled.

I went to jss-script.js to change to scrolling speed which was 600. I tried 200 (and after this 2000). I saved the file but no change in scrolling speed.

I did not do the following which I found on the blogsynthesis.com site :” Then visit using any javascript compression tool compress the script and pate the code to jss-script.min.js.”

Is this necessary to change the scrolling speed? Can you please explain this step?

I’ve installed the plugin jQuery Smooth Scroll to give its functionality to one specific page (id=123).

But this plugin cause a problem with one widget of zerif lite on the home page. It crashes with the gallery’s arrows to switch post.

I wanna exclude the plugin for the home page, or only load it in the specific page (id=123). How can I do it?

Bootstrap carousel has 2 arrow links: left and right. If activate this plugin, the left and right arrow link of carousel will not work.

It seems the plugin have problem with chrome on main page of wordpress. Its seems to be suplicating when scrolling down.

As you can see the first link works great & scrolls but if you click any more links after that they dont scroll, tehy just link directly to that section.

Any ideas?

Woocommerce description not showing.

With a recent update…not sure which plugin…the WooCommerce description & additional information tabs are broken. The tabs show, but none of the info shows, and clicking on the tabs does nothing.

URL is https://www.myjobdependsonag.com, however I have the plugin turned off right now, it does seem to really slow down the site.

Thx for you excellent plugin that works really great … Except in the case of using :target pseudo element, and changing the anchored element display (from none to inline).

Hi, i have recently added several anchor links throughout my website and am now looking to add a nice smooth scrolling transition to each of the links.

I installed the plugin and it worked perfectly, exactly what i wanted, i was very pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, after testing other areas of my website i discovered that the plugin was stopping my accordian sets from opening.

Any chance someone could take a look for me and provide me with a fix?

Just installed this plugin and it deactivated all my other plugins, saying that they had invalid headers. Now when I checked my website for malware, it says I’m infected, when this was a fresh clean install prior to installing this plugin.
