Hi There,
I bought premium version of FG Joomla to WordPress. I migrated Joomla 1.0 users to WordPress 4.0. My new website users said thy could not use their Joomla passwords to login to WordPress. Is there any thing I am missing?
Please help me to solve the problem.
Best regards,
-Rams
I ran into the problem of not being able to get beyond the first page when sorting by top-level categories. 2nd level category pagination worked. The problem was I had duplicate category names and this occurred through the import. I didn’t think it was going to be a problem because they subcategories had different parents, but it was. So, if you have pagination problems, check to be sure no categories have the same name.
]]>Hi,
I am trying to import a Joomla database from mu old site into my new WordPress site but I keep getting the same error:
Database connection failure: Access denied for user ‘jesuskoa_jesus2’@’c-174-62-76-196.hsd1.ca.comcast.net’ (using password: YES)
I′d appreciate any help.
Thank you
]]>Although the plugin seems to be working exactly as advertised and the joomla articles get imported with no trouble, there is however one little glitch that should be fixed: non-latin characters in the joomla category names at the import screen are displayed as ???. Obviously an encoding thing.
]]>Hi,
Thanks a lot for your work and sharing it with us.
I just have a small question, probably stupid, but does the plugin delete the articles from Joomla when it import them ?
I hope it is not the case, but i wanted to be sure before trying.
Thanks a lot, and sorry for my bad english ??

]]>Hi
Thanks for making this plugin – Im hoping it will save me many hours ??
I have a database for Joomla 1.5 remaining on the same server as wordpress 3.1 but the joomla site is not there.
I managed to connect to the database ok but some categories are not showing up.
Additionally none of the visible categories are importing though the are found.

]]>Hi,
I used the Joomla 1.5 importer and the articles came over perfect! The only thing that didn’t was the images in the articles, which I am assuming because of the links. How can I get the images over for the articles? Is there an easy way?
Thanks for your help!

I am just getting a blank screen after entering my db details. It says: Import Joomla 1.5 at the top, there is an ad on the right, but nothing in the body. Does this plugin work on 3.1?
Thanks!
]]>I have one site hosted with joomla and want to use wordpress for that one instead. I installed wordpress on a subdomain, and used your tool for importing one category to the one in wordpress.
That part worked fine, however, it caused the MySQL database not accessible in the main domain any longer. Fortunately I had everything backed up and was able to restore the databases.
Is there are a way to avoid this from happening while I continue to modify the subdomain to my wishes (leaving the original website untouched and on-line)?
