please re-instate this stand alone plugin.
installing the full Jetpack is killing my website, even when i have only widget visibility module active.
When woocommerce is installed you neeed a page which is set as the start page for the shop, usually called Shop. Exactly on this page the plugin doesn’t work and does nothing. But this plugin would make the most sense exactly there.

]]>Hi
I have a site. Posts shows up normally one the frontpage (blogroll). I set up 10 post so pagination comes to play. I’m also using PageNavi plugin.
The problem is when I’m using wigtet ‘Categories”. I have set that categories tree should show up on the frontpage (www.mysite.com)and that is correct.
But when I’m clicking on 2 (www.mysite.com/page/2) there is no “Categories” widget.
Any clues ?

]]>Hi,
I think there’s a bug in this plugin in the Jetpack_Widget_Conditions::filter_widget() function. The case statement that handles the taxonomy option has a call to get_object_terms
(line 421). This is currently:
$terms = get_the_terms( $post->ID, $rule['minor'] ); // Does post have terms in taxonomy?
But it should be:
$terms = get_the_terms( $post->ID, $term[0] );
At the moment, the get_the_terms
call always returns a WP_Error with the message “Invalid taxonomy”.
Thanks
]]>Plugin works great for all conditions EXCEPT Show if Page is Shop where the desired widget is not displaying on the WooCommerce Shop page. It does display on WC Product Category and WC Product pages as desired.
Running WC version 2.2.4
Please advise!

]]>I am not sure what is to blame. I am new to WordPress and programming in general. So forgive my ignorance.
I have built a website using the Catch Box Theme. I have been also been creating custom templates within that theme and have been using the advanced custom fields plugin and the custom post type ui plugin. I am new to all of this. For some reason when I limit which places on my site the plugins are visible it will not show up on pages that use my custom templates. Am I missing something? Is it a problem with your plugin, the theme I am using or something that I need to do with the programming? Is there somewhere where I need to register these new templates in my theme so that your plugin can find the page? I am able to select it from my widget’s visibility drop down menu. I have been scouring the internet for hours upon hours. Am I missing something? Please, help. This is probably an easy fix that I am just unaware of.
]]>I’m building a site using Pagelines DMS2 and there is an online store feature built with woocommerce. All of the pages besides the homepage have a sidebar on the right hand side and I added the WooCommerce Product widget to that sidebar. I don’t want the products to show up on the side bar when viewing the cart or the store. So I set the visibility for the product widget to “Hide” if “Page is Shop” but that widget is still showing up on the shop page. I can’t figure out why it’s not working right. Any help? URL to the site is https://llf.sdl2.com/shop/
]]>The way Widget Visibility works is exactly what I wished for except…
1. On Recent Post widget in Primary Sidebar, recently added Category does not show in Visibility for Hide>Category.
2. Same thing for Blog Subscriptions in Lower/Left Sidebar
3. Worse – I tried to remove Recent Post widget and then replace it – the widget no longer appears in the Home page sidebar.
I use Weaver II 2.1.2. Posts are Home page of https://www.doordems.org.
]]>In my example, the plugin succesfully hides an item included in every blog post’s header. When you open the start page with the overview of the blog posts, it works.
However, if you open the 2nd blog post overview page or the 3rd and so on… the plugin is not able to hide the item. Respectively, it is not possible to configure the plugin sensibly.
Why? In the configuration of the plugin, one can choose ‘hide item xy on startpage’ but not ‘hide item xy on startpage AND the following overview pages’.
Please help!
