Due to the lack of updates, this plugin isn’t quite catching up with the latest PHP versions and it’s starting to malfunction.
Sadly, there seems to be no replacement for this simple but amazing plugin. Is it ever going to be updated? Or maybe someone is willing to adopt it and make it work properly again?

Apparently, I am not able to remove the images from an already created slideshow
the only removable image from the gallery/collection is somehow the default background image.
I’m not sure how to address this issue, I can solve creating another page and doing everything from the beginning, quite painful.
Maybe because the plugin had no updates recently.
Other than this I really appreciate how this plugin work.

I have tried css code to get rid of the wrapper background, but the theme seems to override the plugin and everything else.
