jwpscrolltotop doesnt work when jquery sliders are enabled.
And when it works, it shows the following error in the admin panel.
Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::get_item_quantity() in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\jcwp-scroll-to-top\jcwp-scroll-to-top.php on line 361
Where is the changelog for 1.6?
Scroll to the bottom of a page using JCWP STT and then refresh that page using F5 or “reload” button, the JCWP STT button does not display after refresh/reload on IE & FF (seems to work on Chrome).
This is just a minor issue.
Plugin loads behind content with WordPress Kingsize Theme v4.0.3. I reinstalled version 1.3 and is working as it should.
Hi Jaspreet. While trying to define a custom value (lower) for z-index for the jcwp stt button on my site I noticed that even with a setting like #jcScrollTop {z-index: 99 !important;}
in my CSS, the javascript in your code seems to do override it and the browser does not respect my important z-index. I don’t see such problems when there are html elements labeled important
in my CSS with other javascript based plugins.
I was looking to lower the z-index on my jcwp stt button to be able to have the lightbox overlay cover the jcwp stt button also. I was able to work around by increasing my lighbox’s z-index, however there may be cases where I may not have that option.
Can you fix this whenever possible?
Thanks.
Hello Jaspreet. Great plugin, good work. I have noticed 2 problems however:
1. Easing type – easeInOutExpo: I’ve setup this type of easing, the start of the easing is ‘jerky’ in my Google Chrome browser on Windows 7, I don’t see the same issue in FireFox & IE. Can this this be fixed?
2. Centering Problem: The fixed element that holds the scroll to top link configured to stay at the bottom of the browser in the ‘Center’ is ‘approximately’ in the center not ‘exactly’ in the center. And I figured that is probably because the left position is calculated based upon the width of the browser, so the element starts at center rather than be in the Center. This also has a problem when the browser window is resized. If the size is decreased, the button/link moves to the right & does not display if the browser is resized to less than 1/2 the original size or it may move to the left if the browser is increased in size. So this algorithm shouldn’t be the way to center an element. Instead an element or
holding the scroll button/link should have {display:block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; position:relative; } and then be placed inside another
with {position: fixed; bottom: 0; left: 0; width: 100%;} that spans the entire width of the browser and placed at the bottom of the browser which will then cause the
element inside it to be properly centered. This way it will handle changes in browser sizes also & will always appear ‘exactly’ in the center. Make sure to test in IE7 & IE8 also that the centering works.
Can you post a reply after fixing these issues?
Thanks in Advance.
J.
Very nice plugin. However, on the admin settings page, it throws a Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::get_item_quantity() in jcwp-scroll-to-top.php on line 331
It would also be really nice to have the option of specifying an image to use, rather than text.
