Hi,
At the risk of sounding very foolish, where is the tag needed to display the video? I have checked everywhere that I can on the backend. And my Plugins page has no settings for the plugin, just “Deativate” and “Edit”.
Please, please assist.
]]>Due to changes with YouTube, IX Show Latest YouTube is no longer working. We’re aware of the API issues, inability to find videos from your channel, and PHP array errors.
We do plan to fix these, but development is currently on hold until we can get some other things aligned.
Please don’t repost about these already-reported issues.
I use the plugin, myself, and I’m eager to see it working again, too.
]]>Hi,
I just installed the plugin and this is what I see on my webpage: “No more videos found for channel pauseyourlifeshow”
But I have 1 video on my YouTube channel.
Why is it not working?
Other info:
– My webpage: https://pauseyourlife.org/virtual-monday-meditation/
– I’m using this shortcode: [ix_show_latest_yt]
– I’m running a multi-site installation of WordPress. (I have activated it on the site level, not the network level)
– I’m using Bluehost hosting.
Thanks!
~Chris
This plugin stopped working on my WordPress (4.2.2) without any modification. I’ve tried reinstall but still showing “no more videos found for channel”. What happens? See my settings and the code inserted in the page here (https://chilp.it/561aae5) and here (https://chilp.it/8943404). And of course, my Youtube channel contains several videos (https://chilp.it/82bf118).
]]>We are using this plugin to display live video feeds on our church web site. It has been working wonderfully for the past several months until today. Digging into the source code, when I go here: https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/jcnazwebsite/live/events?v=2&alt=json&status=active I get a ‘web page not available’ error. Looking at the YT API, it seems version 2 has been deprecated for some time. Did Google finally pull the plug, making the live stream function no longer work correctly? Does it need to be updated to version 3?

Hi
I installed the plugin, added youtube channel id yet im getting this on the page

Please help!

Hi, we used this plugin for a while and it worked fine. I think sometime in the last few weeks it stopped working and shows a youtube error screen saying to go to youtube.com/devicesupport.
You can see this on our page here: https://www.shepherdsgrove.org/resources/contemporary-video/
I did see that youtube updated their api and read this: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6098135?hl=en
Im guessing the plugin just needs to be updated.
Our current version of the plugin is 2.4.4 and WP 4.2.2
If I can provide any additional info that might help please just let me know.
Thanks!
]]>Until this plugin is updated to be compatible with YT API v3, is there a work around that can be used?
]]>I putted my channel ID and set up the information but nothing its working!
]]>As of today 4/20/15 the plugin no longer works properly. Instead of showing the latest video, it show the device support video from YouTube. Looks like the plugin needs to be updated to use the version 3 API.
]]>Our page needs to import a stream from a YouTube channel I don’t control. Live shows work perfect. If I have multiple videos displayed, it shows recent shows perfectly.
However, the feed has several old pending shows which never went live and as a result, they always show up first even though they are a year old. Is there a way to ignore pending shows and give first priority to live shows and then to recent shows?

I am new to webhosting. First. So you know.
I am trying to use this plugin to connect my users youtube profiles to their profile page which then will be linked on another page.
I cannot seem to get the shortcode or template code to work for anything directly in the site. Do I have to use “backend” integration (not sure thats the right term). I am using a customized template with several plugins. I use BP for my users.
Also, I would like to have each users youtube id automatically added to the shortcode. This may be available already, I just can’t seem to make it work. Anyway, I would appreciate any help. Thanks
Chris
]]>Hi,
I recently updated to WP 4.1 and the plugin no longer displays the live event. It shows the ‘No live stream at the moment’ text even though an event is streaming. The fun (!) part is, that if I’m logged in to WP, the stream shows as it should.
I suspect that WP 4.1 (or a plugin or the webserver or the clients browser) does some sort of caching so the browser displays an ‘old’ cached page instead of a page embedding the stream. By loggin in to WP the page is served correctly.
If you can reproduce this problem and device a workaround, please do. Otherwise please remember this when updating the plugin to support WP 4.1 ??
For now, I will have to redirect the user to YouTube for viewing the live event ??
]]>Having trouble with the shortcode displaying an error. I have used this plugin previously without issue, just not for a while.
I’m using all the default plugin settings with the basic [ix_show_latest_yt] tag.
I’m now getting this error code displaying on the page, instead of the embedded video.

I started a test hangout on air to see how it would display and when I was done I deleted it. Once the HOA was deleted, the plugin stopped displaying on the https://grandviewpineschurch.org/livestream-archives/ page and the front page shows that a video has been deleted.
Also, I’d like to request that there be a feature of “autoplay if broadcasting” or “Text while broadcasting” Basically I’d love to be able to show people that visit the site that we’re live when we are.
Thanks so much for this plugin, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks,
]]>I’ve built a website and the plugin stopped working a couple of days ago. I did have WP Super Cache installed, but turned off cacheing, emptied the cache, and deactivated & deleted the plugin. The website is still showing a video from 2 days ago. There have been 2 published since then.
The videos in question are coming from https://www.youtube.com/user/jgpilates/videos
The website is https://johngareyfitness.com/
The plugin is at the bottom of the home page, second column from the left.
Thanks!
]]>Whenever I add this shortcode to a page, then entire page goes white. I do have a bunch of plugins on my site, but I can’t disable them since the site is live and has a high volume of users. I am not getting any error in Firebug at all, so I can’t help you there.
Plugins I have installed are:
– Akismet
– Blubrry
– Contact Form 7
– Disqus
– Google Authenticator
– Jetpack
– Really Simple Captcha
– Testimonial WordPress Plugin
– Woocommerce
– Woocommerce Subscriptions
– WooThemes Helper
– WPB WooCommerce Product Slider
– WP Super Cache
Hey guys
I’m trying to get the video to show within my footer.
This is what currently shows: https://i.imgur.com/P12b8c9.png
As you will see, I can only see the shortcode.
This is what I’ve pasted within footer.php:

]]>When I updated the plugin to the latest version (2.4.1) I get the following error message:
“Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$entry in /wp-content/plugins/ix-show-latest-youtube/plugin/Ix_ShowLatestYt.php on line 164
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$entry in /wp-content/plugins/ix-show-latest-youtube/plugin/Ix_ShowLatestYt.php on line 165″
Right now, I’m commenting the two lines away with “//” in the “Ix_ShowLastestYt.php”, but that’s not a fix that I want to use, and I don’t think I should have to either.
Any ideas on why I get these messages?
]]>Great plugin!
I’ve just noticed something, however, that was not present previously. There is a weird timestamp above the videos. It looks like so…

Can you please help?
Thanks!
I love this plugin!
I added some css to add some bottom margin to separate the latest video from the others since as it comes, all videos stack one after the other with no margin in between.
I used all of my limited css know to try to accomplish the following request with no success.
I want the latest video to be %100 width and the next 3 or 6 videos to be in rows of 2 or 3
I will really appreciate any help you can provide me with!
tnx for such an awesome plugin!
]]>When I have multiple live events scheudled the plugin appears to pull the last event instead of the next event.
I currently have two events scheduled, one for tomorrow (Thursday), and another for Tuesday and I see the countdown for Tuesday, but if I make the Tuesday event “unlisted” then I see the countdown for tomorrow.
Any advise, my shortcode is at:
https://www.ociministries.org/media/live-stream-2/live-stream/
and by YouTube Channel is PerryStoneVOE.
Thanks,
Denver
]]>This is a great plugin! Thumbs Up!
A great feature would be an extra shortcode that could display a small image (on-air.png) when streaming live and another (off-air.png) image when there is no live stream. Then paste the shortcode at the top of the page or in the header.
I would be willing to pay for such a plugin. Maybe make a Pro version of IX.
Many thanks! ??
]]>If that option is set in the settings (even when not in the embed code), all it will display is that message, is there a fix?
]]>Things I would love to see implemented:
1. Auto refreshing of the stream when a live show or video ends.
2. Having a list of channels that the plugin could pull videos from.
Example: User A finished his show, the plugin would then go down the list in order checking if there is a live stream happening on that channel, if so it pulls the video up.
3. Perhaps a manual refresh button on the user side that refreshes the video stream in case of an error or other unseen issue.
4. Multiple stream selector. Having multiple streams being queued by the plugin and letting the user select which one they wish to watch.
5. The ability to pull from other providers such as Justin.TV, Twitch.TV, UStream, or livestream.com
Example: Tubesynch.com does this for their channels
]]>Hey there!
Great plugin, simple and efficient ??
May I request that you add localization filters to the no-live message so that WPML can hook on it for translations?
It really shouldn’t be too complex but I don’t want to modify core files.
Cheers,

Hey there!
I tried to get the most recent video from a youtube channel using the shortcode on a template and the player won’t work. I got the player on the website but no video, and if we click play shows “Error” – See image here: https://cl.ly/image/0X2Z0t0H2s3r
I got version 2.3 of the plugin and latest version of wordpress.
Hope you guys can help me out! Thanks
