I have placed the WPZOOM Instagram Widget & Block in the footer Instagram bar of the INSPIRO theme. However, even after increasing the number of images from the “Number of Images Shown” setting, it only displays up to 9 photos.

Is there a limit on the number of images for the free version?
If there is a way to display more than 9 photos, please let me know.

Hi, I have a staging website and I use your plugin. My Instagram token has expired, so I tried reconnecting the account. The error I can see is “Could not query Instagram API, try reloading this page.” Reloading the page, trying to reconnect from another browser or from Incognito don’t help as error is the same.

Could you support me with this problem, please? We have .htaccess box preventing users from viewing the site, could it be related to the described issue?

Hi there – I am using this plugin to show Instagram feeds across several websites, and it appears to have stopped working for all Instagram accounts and websites.

I am using the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of the plugin. I am also displaying an Instagram feed via WordPress shortcode.

When I go to try to Reconnect the user, I receive the error message “Insufficient Developer Role: Insufficient developer role”

Is there a bug with Meta affecting the feeds? Please advise, thanks!

I’m retrieving the 9 lasts (same) posts from Instagram, everything is working fine but the wordpress upload folder is constantly filled with images of theses posts again and again resulting in a large amount of space taken after few days.
If I’m using the purge button of the “settings” section of the script (Delete all Instagram Images from the Media Library), all is erased but it’s starting to act the same again so unless I can set a cronjob to purge every day…
For the same 9 posts since the purge this morning I’m at 756 files for 100mb in 9 hours.
WordPress and the plugin are at the last version available
Can you provide me what file or call I can use to set a purge with a cronjob maybe ?

We have images set to lazy load, however the poster images when the instagram post is a video, do not lazy load. Looking at the Chrome waterfall, you can see these are loaded as the page loads, not as the instagram widget loads at the bottom

Im being redirected to a page where it says “No permission to access this page” when i click to Connect a new instagram account, why is that? Never happened to me before, and the user Im currently using is administrator and has all permissions, i checked the folder of plugin and it is set to read write and etc.. can you guys give me some help? Hello, I am suddenly unable to connect to my Instagram account. I keep receiving the error message “Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.”

Images are created in multiple dimensions and stored in multiple folders. The WPZOOM Social Feed Widget & Block plugin creates multiple instances of the same image. I saw some images in 270 different dimensions or with other file names, all related to the same Instagram post. A single image that was used for an Instagram post resulted in this plugin generating 270 different image files! Additionally, I noticed that the plugin saved images from Instagram posts that were published in the last month in the folder /wp-content/uploads/2020/10. The images from Instagram posts of the previous month were saved in the wrong folder by the WPZOOM plugin. As a result, my server has exceeded its total capacity, causing this issue with WPZOOM!

Version 2.1.6 has the following PHP warning clogging up our logs:
Attempt to read property "full_name" on null in <path>/plugins/instagram-widget-by-wpzoom/class-wpzoom-instagram-widget.php:462

That line reads:

<img src="<?php echo esc_url( $avatar ); ?>" alt="<?php echo esc_attr( $user_info->data->full_name ); ?>" width="42" height="42"/>

At the top of the display_items method which contains this line you’re defining user_nfo because you’re not sure $user_info exists? Probably need to add a line there to prevent this issue.

How can I make the background color transparent. Trying to place in the footer of my them, and don’t want a color. Tried css in child-theme style.css, not overriding.

Hi, Unfortunately, the plugin does not automatically refresh the feed in front end. Any idea what should I set to get 1 day refresh?

For some reason the feed is always not showing the last 2 images. In the html, the <ul> is literally missing the last 2 <li> yet the css allows for it in the visual. No matter what I change the number to, it shows 2 less. What is going on here? It used to work fine on this site.

I just enabled the plugin and create a feed. The images are no loaded. I disabled “lazy load” but the issue persists.

How can I fix this?

I use WPZOOM Instagram widget on a client’s website and while it works very well, the Instagram token does not renew automatically : I have to check my client’s website every 2 months to reconnect his Instagram account by hand, which is not very convenient. I use the Instagram token from https://www.wpzoom.com/instagram-auth/ to connect his account to the plugin.

Do you know how to fix it ? Is it mandatory to use the “ID + password” method to connect so the token renews automatically ?

I set everything up correctly but using the shortcode shows all posts in just 1 column instead of 3 columns. Already went to settings and enabled the JS and CSS option. How can I get just one 1 column. We are using the Divi builder and theme.

I am having issues when attempting to reconnect my account. Clicking the Connect with IG button launches IG.com but doesn;t do anything else. Using the Access GToken Generator does the same.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin and using a different browser but no difference.

Reels are getting more important and the image preview of the video is not being lazyloaded even though the option is set, so a big impact on any website using your plugin.

Lazyload is working for normal images though

I am using the Instagram widget in the Footer widget area of Twenty Twenty-One. Design is Full-Width and i removed all Checks for displaying Profile stuff, because i just want to show the images.

This works fine but it adds a lot of space to the right and it seems that you can scroll the full width horizontally twice. On mobile this does not happen, but the last image is cut-off, should this be horizontally scrollable?

There is no custom CSS added to the footer widget area.

Apparently my account unlinked on November 5, and now it won’t allow me to reconnect. It goes through a weird loop like it’s going to do it, and then nothing.

What’s the deal? It’s done this before too – is it a known issue or conflict? Why won’t it complete the reconnect process?

Is it possible to translate the frontend? I have a German website and the timestamps of the Instagram postings is displayed in a mix between English and German (for example: “5 Tage ago”).

I’ve tried to generate a German translation from the plugin’s .pot-file and put the generated .mo and .po files in the plugin’s /languages folder, but that doesn’t seem to work.

Any hints how to do translations?

I’m getting this error although everything seems to be configured okay:
