Twitter links are not adding(also no style getting applied) after adding shortcode to the text editor and also wanted to dispaly twitter icon, but it is showing normal link. How can I add twitter link without bitly integration.
(Note: I am using Headless wordpress with frontend as a Gatsby.)
Hello,
Great plugin! I’ve been looking all over for this.
I have one question – is it possible to include a custom link rather than the current page? We want to use this after a form submission for users to brag about us and send others our way but we don’t want it to go to the form confirmation page.
Thanks. ??
When we use the tweet share link, and then the blog post is sent to a blog feed, the embed code for the tweet share link is displayed.
Note: our blog feed updates regularly, so you may not see the issue when you go to our page. Please let me know if I can send a screenshot.
Hello,
We’re trying to resolve all the jQuery Migrate notices on our website, and found one originating from this plugin.
JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.click() event shorthand is deprecated
Here’s a screenshot of the console trace: https://pasteboard.co/JMwVBNo.png
Will this be patched before WordPress 5.7 drops? Thanks!

We’re finding that apostrophes / single quote marks are not displaying properly in the tweet – they are instead replaced with question marks. Please see example in the link provided.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Hi,
How do I remove the jQuery, jQuery Migrate scripts and the inline-tweet-sharer.css CSS file from
section which is coming with Inline Tweet Sharer plugin?
I want to remove these because these already loading the jQuery on
and I don’t want to use default stylesheets.
Thanks!
Hey there,
Great plugin but I have a problem:
Whenever the tweet text is the first text in the paragraph, the formatting of the paragraph changes.
This doesn’t happen when there is at least one letter before the tweet text.
How could that be fixed?
See those two screenshots:

I installed and activated the plugin, and added my handle in settings. I do not see how to use the plugin while writing a blog post. I use gutenberg blocks to edit it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I’ve been using Inline Twitter on my website for a long time, however, since the last update, it stopped supporting Arabic for some reason and question marks appear in the place of the Arabic text! What’s the problem? And how can I solve it?
Kind regards,

Hi there!
I really like this plug-in and it usually works well. Today, however, I noticed a problem with the way the plugin encodes characters with accents (á, é, for example) and it also adds question marks to the beginning AND end of each tweet.
The other problem I noticed is that it doesn’t capture the quote on mobile—meaning, if you click to tweet on a mobile phone, only the link shows up in the twitter dialog box.
Would really appreciate some help with this.
Thank you!
Auto-generated Twitter links for ‘paged posts’ don’t seem to work properly. No matter which page you’re on, the plug-in links to the first page (i.e. https://yoursite.com/yourpost/ instead of https://yoursite.com/yourpost/3/).
Thanks for your help.

Thanks, BTW for this useful, humble plug-in.

I love this plugin, but recently noticed that when a user clicks on the inline link, the tweet that pops up on Twitter to share only shows the first three words of the text I chose for the tweet.
Here’s a link to a post where you can see this happening: link
Any ideas on why this is behaving this way?

After installing the plugin (Version 1.5.3), I’m getting an Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
error when loading my webpage.
The error seems to be coming from the file inline-tweet-sharer.js?ver=4.3
, on line 1, where jQuery is called.
However, I am using jQuery in many other places on my site (hosted on WP Engine), and this is the only place I’m getting the error. Is is possible that the plugin is being loaded before jQuery? Is there any way to avoid this issue? Thanks!

Hello,
I just noticed today that whenever I click one of my “tweets” it doesn’t include the link at the end.
I have checked all of my settings within the plugin and within my bit.ly account and I don’t see a reason for this happening.
Help?!
Scroll down the page for LOTS of inline tweets to see what I’m talking about.

Hi! I love this plugin.
Just one query — when you click a tweetable link, the page you’re on jumps to the top. That’s fine on a short article, but if a reader if halfway through a lengthy piece they lose their position.
If I delve into the code, is there are fix for this?
Thanks!
Hello,
I’m not sure if this feature is available already, but could you please add a way to allow the inline tweet sharer to work with Bit.ly’s Branded Short Domain?

I’m following your instructions to make changes to how links look like, or include the tweet bird, and there’s no way of doing anything.

I would really appreciate a bit of help ?? Thanks!
Hello guys! Thank you so much for this amazing plugin!
I was trying to set it up and then it turned out like this:
https://thenoirportrait.com/2015/03/04/interior-design-black-home/?preview=true&preview_id=4025&preview_nonce=61e10918f3&post_format=standard
In that page you can see a tiny text that should be the “tweet this” link, I only selected “with black you can’t be wrong” BUT the rest of the text also changes, I never touched any codes, only the settings options.
I uninstalled the plugin to install it again but nothing happens, please help! I REALLY WANT TO USE THIS PLUGIN
Greetings
Tatiana
Nice plugin! Similar to what they have on Forbes too.
I have two improvement suggestions:
1. Combine the three dialogue boxes to a single one, with three entry fields. It would make it more user friendly. Avoid unnecessary clicks.
2. Possibility to have a customised text. Explanation: Say I want to highlight a longish sentence, one that is too long for a tweet . Then it would be nice to be able to chose a different text for the tweet that pops up when the reader clicks the text.
Say the highlighted sentence is: “Abraham Lincoln in one of his lucid moments said that well structured and elegant coding is the way to go and the best thing to do”. Then it would be good to be able to specify a shorter tweet text, for example: “Abraham Lincoln said you should do elegant and structured code”. (Yes, it is a silly example but I hope it illustrates what I mean.)
