Not working using SMTP?

I like the tiny plugin, but it don′t seem to work together with “WP-Mail-SMTP”. Testmails from “WP-Mail-SMTP” were delivered and “Email posts to subscribers” is working too. Only “Informer” does not send E-Mails. Any idea?

The plugin Informer has stopped working. As far as I can see it is since I upgraded to WP 4.5.2 I use the latest version of Informer. At my testsite the same problem occours.
I have a multisite installation.
Is it a problem some of you knows how to solve?

Is it possible, please, to have an option not to include the content of the post or comment.
I want to simply inform users that a new post or comment has been added to the website – to encourage them to go to the site to see the message.

Until such an option exists, can you please tell me how I could modify the code to include a text message such as “A new post or comment has been added to the website” in place of the post or comment text?

Sends mail on editing already published post

As I see, it sends out mails everytime I update the post. Suppose I updated a spelling error, it sends out emails to all the subscribers, which I don’t want. Can it send the email once only when the post is published, not everytime I edit the post?

maybe a problem with custom fields and WP 3.4.2? When unchecking the options and saving within an authors profile, the checked option still remains..

Hi,

I can only find the user profile settings to opt in/out.
Where are the settings for the email itself?
I only want to send out the post title + url and need to be able to set the “Email from” and “Email subject” line myself
