Hello,
If the plugin is set to only display feeds without excerpts and without posts.
Is there a way to put search to search keywords or whatever in the feeds?
I mean to search as in WordPress.
Thanks.

Hi there,
For one of our suppliers, we need to import their product feed so that their stock reflects live on our products on our website. For this they recommended using your plugin. However, when I do this using their feed link, I can’t assign an SKU or product category in your plugin. Can you please help?

When importing an XML feed the
for example turns into rn. This is because the text in the XML file doesn’t get imported as plain text.

I select ‘URL’ as the import type, choose the URL I want to import, configure the feed, aligning the fields in the feed with WordPress post fields
I then click Save as template. I give the template a name in the internodal. The internodal goes way without a warning or error message (or a success message for that matter).
But when I click ‘Load template’ there are no templates to load

Sometimes when I load the template the option is there for custom fields, however, most times it’s not. The option for ACF is there.
When it has loaded, and I map custom fields to the feed, if I then exit the template (having saved) and come back, the mapping is no longer there. They don’t import either. Can you advise on why this might be?
Reading this support forum it suggests that these features are in the premium version, but when I go to your main website there is no option to buy.
How can I purchase the premium version of this plugin?
Good day, I’ve imported some elements using this plugin, everything is ok, the only thing is that passing a list of taxonomies (categories) make the plugin create them without spaces in the name.
so if the list is like: one category, two category, three category, the categories created are: onecategory, twocategory, threecategory.
is something I could fix somehow?
thanks in advance.
how can I import paths (url) so that my posts are the same as on another site?
I am migrating a website from Drupal, and the site is already 5 years old. Therefore, all paths should be the same. I don’t need it to generate new paths (URL) for posts. I pass the paths in XML.
I’m having an issue when I try to use the URL. I just get the hourglass that spins and then nothing happens.
This is the feed URL: https://sandycoveadvisors.com/blog/feed.xml
I did a validation check and the XML feed is valid so it should work?
I also tried deactivating all of my plugins except for this one and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Absolutely love this plugin, does 99% of what I need a super lightweight.
I am having one problem however with XML attributes.
For example, I’m trying to Map a custom field of ‘enclosure’, but I need the URL attribute and your plugin sadly does not seem to offer a way to target that? Can you suggest anything?
Your plugin certainly sees the attribute, but adding enclosure as a custom field does not display anything…
/enclosure:
ATTRIBUTES:
@url:https://domain.com/podcast.mp3
@type:audio/mpeg
@length: 40816448
Hi!
I am looking for a plugin like this, and I have tested your free version. A couple of questions:
1) Am I right in assuming that I need the premium version if I want the feed to update automatically e.g. every night?
2) If yes, is the licence fee 1 single payment or recurring – and are lifetime updates and support included?
3) I am importing job offers (vacancies). I used the “custom post types” plugin to create a special post type for them and put them in a grid, looks great. But I need each post title (= job title) to link to an EXTERNAL page for the detail information (i.e. the corresponding job description and information on how to apply) FROM THE GRID page. The URLs are provided as part of the feed. When I tested it, I might have put some setting wrong, because I got the titles linked to “internal” pages with the details instead. So just to be safe before I buy (if needed): is it possible to just import [title, image, excerpt] and then have it all be linked to the [external URL] in a new tab?
Thanks!
I am trying to import blog posts from this feed https://koepkecounseling.com/feed/
However, the “Feed Data Matching” page does not display the content:encoded node.
I am trying to import a file in RSS format that has over 8,000 items. I’ve tried saving it as an XML file and uploading it but when I click check data nothing is shows. The file is just over 14 MB in size.
I also tried uploading the file to a website and accessing the URL. In that case I get as far as preview before the preview shows nothing for items, but will show for images.

Hi, thanks for your support,
I have a folder present in my site’s FTP, in which many xml (posts) are added every day which must be published on the site.
about 40 new xml files will be added to my folder every day.
I would need an automatic process that imports every day, all (and only) the new xml files present in the folder.
Can this Plugin do this job?
thanks a lot
Luca
Gave this a try with a feed from https://thetechfortress.com/feed/
It was able to identify all of the nodes EXCEPT the content node, where all the content was. It found the description node, but not the full body content.
Not sure why it couldn’t find it, but thought I’d mention it.
I tried this with both the url and by using a feed file upload.
As a work around, I took the .rss file and manually (work) converted this into an xml file to upload via the wordpress uploader.
~ I’m not looking for a solution. I’ve moved on. Just providing this for posterity in case it helps the plugin author improve something or helps other users to figure out something and avoid confusion.
I’m doing an import for a client and I purchased the pro version of this plugin. They have multiple fields in their XML that they would like to map to tags.
I don’t see a way to map multiple fields to one field in the importer?
Example: I would like to map Topics, Sponsor, Sentiment, and Multimedia (these fields exist in the XML for each item) to the Tags taxonomy.
Is there a way to do this?

Hi there,
I would like to create a price comparison site for books, and thus will use Datafeedr or other retailer-supplied XML product feeds. As I would also like to be able to add content in reference to each product (on their own “product page”), I would like to convert product listings coming in via the product feeds into product posts (“product page”) on my website. How can I do this?
I imagine I would first need to create a custom post type with matching fields to those in the incoming product feeds. And then use this plugin to map the feed fields into the post fields?
Can this be done? Will posts be created automatically? Can the post data be updated automatically, and duplicates avoided?
Thanks

I have problems importing articles. The field <content: encoded> is not displayed even if present in the FEED:

Hello,
I am looking to upload two new feeds into my site.
I would like this one to be under a category called Mergers & Acquisitions so that all posts would be under that category so I can make a page specifically for Mergers & Acquisition article only.
However, I can’t even get that far, it keeps only giving me one option which states Author, and then when I got to post I am unable to pick the correct information to identify each section.
Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

1)Add custom fields?
I’m trying to import a live xml feed and the only field I don’t have is the price field.
This plugin will be used on a car dealership theme.
2)Will the plugin automatically import new xml data each day or do I have to manually import each day?
