Hi,
I cannot get this to work with any theme. Are there any known incompatibilities with WP 4.4 or other plugins?
Regards,
James.
Easy to set up, easy to use – however, on my site the information bar at the top of the page doesn’t disappear when the user says they accept the cookies.
]]>I have changed both instances of $(‘html’) in implied-cookie-consent.js to $(‘body’) as I have a background image on body and a fixed width cookie bar, that pushes the background image down, revealing the body colour underneath. For anyone else with a similar issue

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/wbros/public_html/ortodontachojnice.pl/wp-content/plugins/implied-cookie-consent/implied-cookie-consent.php on line 31
Cheers

]]>I think this is due to multisite.
The plug-in cannot be network activated. If so, only the main blog will get a page created and the message filled in.
Unsure if there are more issues.
Workaround: activate the plug-in once for each sub-site.
]]>In my 3.9.1, the cookie message simply does not persist, without dismissing the window, an F5 simply makes the message go to never be seen again. Same happens when visiting any page, message goes after visiting another page. Tested in Chrome & Firefox.
Interestingly this isn’t the only cookie plugin that behaves like this (although I have found one that works correctly) perhaps some on the code is similar (and broken) between some of these plugins
]]>I’m using “Page Info” to find the cookie ICC has created, then deleting that cookie.
However, when I then refresh the page – i.e. attempting to see the ICC info bar – it doesn’t appear. When I go back into “Page Info” the ICC cookie has been recreated. I can’t therefore get it to show me the ICC info bar. It’s happening on both an off-line development site I use (created with / accessed by ‘Desktop Server’) and the live site at s-t-u-f-f.net
Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas how to solve the problem?
Love the plugin – it’s so simple to use and is really unobtrusive when a visitor comes to the site. Unfortunately, I’ve now become uncertain whether it’s actually working for other visitors so I need to resolve the issue or find a different plugin.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted! ??
Best regards

]]>Add a stripslashes() before displaying the “Cookie info message” on both the frontend and backend please ??
If your message contains “you’re” it comes out as “you/’re”. If you edit the message without fixing that, you end up with “you//’re”. So on and so forth.
