This is a very cool plugin! It works great with only one major issue and that is when you mark the image field as required the image does NOT get attached and sent with the email. If you remove the required parameter it works great. But it needs this bug fixed to be truly useful.

]]>The HTML name is not showing up when setting up the email thread.
For instance if I have this code in my CF7: [upload_image after-images max-file:36]
[after-images] should show up on the Mail Tab so I can insert them into the attachments page. But for some reason they are not showing up anymore.
This plugin was working great back in May2022. Idk if there was a wordpress update but since then it has not been working.
Great Plugin Other than that.
If you can get this fixed I can donate to your business. Because I know how difficult it is to keep an app up to date.

I have defined the drag and drop field as an optional field. In the email it is entered with [upload_images] in the file attachments. Unfortunately, a file attachment never arrives with the received email.

]]>Hi, your plugin is awesome and flawless from PC, but unfortunately when I try to upload pictures from iPhone:
1. if I resize them through iPhone image compression I can upload them to my website, but then I am unable to send the form;
2. if I do not resize them through iPhone image compression I can upload them to my website, but then I am unable to send the form (the waiting circle keeps spinning…forever).
Could that depend on the heic/ heif format? Or maybe is a CF7 issue and not yours?

I can add file to the form and I can send it, but there is no attachment in the e-mail.
When I removed * (field not required) everything works perfect and the file is attached.

I’m trying to figure out how to pass the image uploaded via Images Optimize & Upload CF7 to a new post. (Or inserted, rather.) All the other form data is successfully being passed, and I could figure out how to pass the image upload to the featured image without the Images Optimize & Upload plugin. But surely there’s a way to do it with.
Using CFDB7, the images are now being saved on the server. Which is great. But does anyone know how I can access them in a function with the wpcf7_before_send_mail hook? Happy to post the full function here if someone wants to take a look.

All is working ok except the file attachment(s) are not present in mail.
wether or not i use the ioucf7 shortcode in my form !
just enabling your plugin makes a simple form with only [file xxx] to not send the attachment, disabling it and the mail contains the attachment.
PS : I use cf7db and the files are presents in saved submissions.

Send PDF uses mail-tags to display form-tags.
When i upload several images with Optimize and Upload, a little image with a red cross appear.
I use <img height="400" src="[fieldname]" />.
How can i display all uploaded files?

When the Browse files-button is clicked (see “Vedh?ft billeder” mid-page), a pop-up window is expected.
Instead the button links to # and nothing happens.
Curiously however, I have the same setup on this other site: https://asgerkennedy.dk/form
Here the button works as intended.
The same theme is used on both sites (Twenty Twenty-One), and most of the same plugins.
What can it be, that interferes with the button’s functionality?

Well, this is my problem as well.
I think that what the guys meant is that the plugin automatically adds the attachments to the email sent.
Well, we need the mail-tag of the attachment, to create a PDF using the link.
For example:
Using default system of CF7 I need to add a file field, then I have the mail-tag [file-attachment1] (example). Then I have go to Mail tab of CF7, and add this mail-tag to “File Attachments” field. Using the mail-tag of the attachment, I can use the image link in a PDF generator plugin.
The problem here is that we cannot find the attachment’s mail-tag using the plugin. We do not have the [file-attachment1] “shortcode”.
Is it clear? Could you help me?

Hello. Great plugin. I have an upload field for max. 3 pictures. Now I have to get the first picture from the upload field. Is it possible to insert each picture individually via shortcode? And is it possible that the pictures are not automatically taken as attachments?
