I like the idea of this plugin—clean, simple, effective. However, the pricing model is a bit confusing. It’s certainly not free, as claimed. The quota model they work on is not a good plan for sites with lots of images, over 100k images.
The plugin lacks WebP conversion support. WebP is a must-have if you want to rank higher with search engines, especially Google. Most other image optimization plugins include WebP conversion and WebP loading.
I was hoping this plugin would work, but it’s not for me.

The plugin developer prominently states:

This fails to mention that there is a 100MB limit on the free trial too, so the statement should read:
Test on up to 100MB of files for free for the first 15 days.
If this isn’t corrected by the developer, one has to assume it is a sneaky attempt to get more people to try the software by burying the full truth in the plugin FAQs.

It worked really well for me, compressed PDFs and saved me TONS of space BUT – once the 15 day trial was up it stopped working. In fact, this is just a trial version of a pay service that charges $7, $14 and $50 per month.

5.Trialware is not allowed in the repository. It’s perfectly fine to attempt to upsell the user on other products and features, but a) not in an annoying manner and b) not by disabling functionality after some time period.
This plug-in does EXACTLY that violating WordPress Plug-in directory rules.
So, don’t waste your time – and expect either the developer to update this OR for this plug-in to disappear from the WordPress Plugin directory for not following the rules.

Are you serious? Yes am i! This is insane, i didn’t know before we can optimize that much images and pdf. I added this plugin to my website and in few minutes all my images was decreasing between 20 and 40%! Can you imagine how much i saved on my homepage, i saved 1 MB which mean my website is twice faster than before and the quality is great.
Really if i can give advise for people who look for a new great technics for SEO, use imagerecycle.

SEO optimization is nothing if the visitors have to wait long before the images are loaded.
I don’t have to worry about images sizes, with Image Recycle it’s now automatic.
My files are always optimized, even when I sleep.
The sub accounts are also very useful when like me you have many customers websites.
