I really hope Gustav continues to update and support this plugin. It truly is one of the best tools I have enabled on my family website, great way for people to explore the visual content on your site.
Thank you Gustav!!

Wordfence was considering this plugin abandoned. So I contacted Gustav to see if the plugin was still safe to use. He confirmed it was safe. He said there was no need for a plugin update but anyhow he was going to update the plugin’s version so that the abandon warning would go away.
Gustav was awesome in his customer service. No more warnings from Wordfence. Image Wall has always worked like a charm!

Problem when i add the option “open_links_in_new_window” wih WP 4.41, no image at all is shown.
When i just write “[image_wall]” to my page it works !

Kudos. This is a great plugin. Good luck in your adventures. Great blog too.

This plugin is simple and produces an attractive masonry display. HOWEVER, there is a huge built-in contradiction: the shortcode parameters “include_categories” “exclude_categories” “include_tags” “exclude_tags” are non-functioning.
The author states that on the one hand the images MUST BE “attached to a page or a post.” BUT, “if the image is attached to a post, the post should not be filtered by a exclude/include tags/categories argument.”
Then what’s the point? This plugin is of no use to me since the Wall will display every piture I have in every post, including the Featured Image. I can’t imagine a situation where someone would want that, unless your site is so small and only has a few pictures. Why include those shortcode parameters and describe them if they are useless?

Am using for a hotel / chalet site. Does exactly what I want – have a look at https://gozermatt.com to see how I’m using it – Thank you so much!

Love this plug in not mentioned in the description but I’m using custom post types and it still draws image’s to create a lovely interactive gallery that links seamlessly back to my post’s 5 stars well deserved

I use my website almost exclusively to post pictures, so this plugin is exactly what I needed to let users browse through randomly generated pictures that I posted.
It installs and works smoothly.
Totally recommended.

Took me all of 5 min. to install and set it up. This honey is gonna most definitely up my “Pages/Session” and “Session Duration”!

one thing to understand is that this is a visual navigation thing and not a media gallery thing.
only images attached to content will post on the wall.

simple and easy to implement – love the category / tag inclusion and exclusion options
many thanks!

I have been using this plugin for almost a year now as I just wanted to make sure it would really work with my theme and the (almost constant) upgrades to WordPress and it does! Works beautifully. Kudos to the author!

Great for image heavy sites. Lets visitors sift through mountains of pictures in an easy organic fashion.

This plug has a great concept for dynamic feeding of images from posts.
Also great support only 6 hours to fix a bug!

It works well as intended. I’d like to see further enhancement such as the ability to select which categories to be included and layout controls.
Thank you-

The plugin works smooth and is light weight. It’s awesome and Gustav does support well. Do ask for it if you get stuck or are not able to make it working. : )

Took a few minutes to setup and get the shortcode syntax straightened out but WOW this creates some awesome output!
Check it out on my site: [ link redacted, please do not post links in the reviews section ]

The Image Wall works well for me in Calculation mode. It is just what I needed to give visitors a chance to see older posts.
No more “related posts” plugin.
Rating = “I” and “W” for incredible and wow!

I searched high and low for a plugin that would display my posts this way – I didn’t want to use a different theme.
I imagine plugin developers will begin to take advantage of Jquery/Masonry being added to the core, but so far this is the only one I’ve found.

I installed this plugin on a site that carries loads of graphics/photos. It’s to me the new order of web navigation. Love it. Keep up the great work.
