Unfortunately, this plugin has major bugs, which render using a custom license URL impossible. However, the developers do not address it nor respond to their own support forum. Honestly, not a good look for a member of the WP Core Team…

The idea is good, but this isn’t currently working for me because of a Custom Licensing Policy generating an error in License Field. It’s outputting an invalid URL into the custom licensing code, which is prompting Google Search Console errors. I ended up with thousands of errors from it and got no response from the developers in the support forum.

I’d like for this to work, but I can’t recommend it as it currently is.
