I have 6 blocks with hover effects active. Each of which shows text when the mouse goes over it and redirects to a url on the same site when clicked. All has been working fine until recently. Some of the text in the description got corrupted somehow and had a load of what look like colour codes added to it. And the url keeps being elongated by adding addition @http://@ every time an entry is saved. And it is added to ALL defined entries. Have deactivated and activated but still seems to be an issue when editing anything

I’m using your plugin since a few years and I never had problem with it. Before my last modification, images was showing 3 per rows.

Since I tried to add new images and I saved it, it’s showing 1 image per row and previously, it was 3… I’ve never changed this… and now, I’m not able to switch it to 3 per row…

It looks like it’s a bug because I never changed this setting and I can’t restore it to 3, when I change it to 3 and try to save, I still 1 after saving.

Can you help me with this please?

Because our website is not set up to show large images, the definition is not a big image so the images are blurry.

***** POST UPDATE : I changed it manually in the database and the display is ok. But, as soon as I make changes in the post, the “ichcpt_settings” in the database is saved to “NULL” *******

In the settings, there are a few things not in the textdomain, these are:

• This tagline: An easy and best way to display images with text and animations.
• The button with the upsell
• “Pro feature”
• Image over image effect example text
• When you hover over the buttons for new category or remove it
• The instruction text when you click on “Get shortcode”.

All other strings can be translated ??

While I adore this plugin, I find that there is one major UX issue. Currently, you have a list of effects with a number. But that isn’t saying much. What is that effect?

How am I supposed to remember which effect is which? It would be also nice if you see a little preview animation so you can judge if that’s the right one or not.

I created a translation file via Loco Translate and didn’t see my translations working. Could you check if the language tags are correct and it’s showing up since I’d love to translate this plugin via translate.wp.org as well and make it useable for my non-english speaking clients.

On my website at the bottom is a blue button is labeled, SPECIAL FORM MILLING.

While viewing the front page and you type Page URL, Or press the HOME Button at top of page.. the Blue SPECIAL FORM MILLING Button disappears. he only thing that restores it is a reload of the page.

Apparently the Image Hover code is putting in an extra DIV. If this is not the problem please help with answer,, thank you

As you make the website window smaller the hover effect images get cut off on the right side. How do I fix this? This is especially noticeable on an iPad in landscape mode.

Hi, firstly, I’d like to say, I love the plugin so much, it is so sleek with beautiful effects. However, I noticed that the image won’t align to the center I am on Tablet or Landscape Mobile mood.

As you can see, the alignment looks off. And I can’t seem to get the image to align center even if I add in extra CSS code. I’ve tried using margin, and while it works, it’ll look off when I am on desktop mood.

I cannot get the “Open Link in New Tab” feature to work in the free version or the pro version. Even when the option says “yes” the link opens in the same tab. Help!

I created a test page to test the plugin and I created a Square Effects shortcode. I chose “Col 3” as column size and 300 x 300 px for the image size. Margins are default 20 px each. When I copy the shortcode 2 or 3 times next to each other (in a post) the images appear in separate rows and not next to each other.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I bought the Pro ver. to create image over image effect, because in the pro version settings was the option “caption background type” where you can choose it, but after installation of the PRO there isn’t this option. Where can I find it?

Hi, I’m using Image Hover Effects – WordPress Plugin free version. I like the plugin but not able to do css of images shown at website. I closed the css for images height but is creating default css automatically.

I’ve come across an issue where I created 9 categories. Each category has 3 or more images.

Now I can not create a 10th category. If I create it and save the changes it says “Changes saved..!” but when the page reloads I only see 9 categories intead of 10. Everything after that is not saved even though it tells me it was saved. I can also not add anymore images to my last category. Why is that?

I am not getting any warnings or indications why this bug is happening.

What can I do to add more categories and have everything saved?
Could you please help me with this?

I created different catagories, but the short codes are the same for two or more categories. How do I fix this without having to redo the work?

When creating a new image I enter an external link description eg https://www.youarehere.com but when clicking on the image to follow the link it goes to https://ikamu.co.za/gauteng-north/www.youarehere.com/
How do you change this so that the https://ikamu.co.za/gauteng-north/ does not form part of the link.
