I needed to add some text to each graphic I was displaying. I struggled with adding captions, then some text paragraphs.
But Flipbox was easy to use and quick to implement. Plus, making edits was a cinch!

so glad we added this plug in to be able to add flipboxes to our site – we’re running on a really restrictive theme with the old classic page builder (no drag and drop for us unfortunately) so alot of plug-ins don’t work well with the site – but we’ve had no problems with flipbox awesome.

Seems to be packed with features for all kinds of elaborate things, but I just needed to flip one existing image to another (book front cover to show back cover on hover). I have the images, I don’t need to add any text, borders, buttons, icons. After an hour of trying to get this very simple thing done and failing, I uninstalled. I would recommend it if you want to spend a day working out the thousand settings for each flip, but if you just want something very simple like me, I wouldn’t recommend this plugin.

Plugin comes with a load of default templates which are pretty useless and incredibly difficult to change. If you just want a really simple flip box, this plugin is not for you.
Way too many settings which do stuff you don’t want and no settings to change the simple things you need to change. i suppose the simple stuff is on the Pro version, but free version is convoluted and annoying.
