I want to suppress the archive/post/extract display for various terms within a hierarchical taxonomy, and do that without affecting the display for terms above and below that in the hierarchy. Can this be accomplished with Iks Menu?

Hi, I’m playing with this menu, hoping to use it on my site.

One question – is it possible to upload images only for use in the menu (when using product categories), instead of having the category image used?

I want to upload very small images just for use in the menu and have my product category image completely different/larger.

I can do it for a custom menu, but I would like to do it for category menu to enable product counts.

I am working with 67 websites at the present time, The menu is the same on all 67 sites. Those site where done by backing up the first site and using that backup to create the next one.

At the present time I am trying to update these websites into 2 multi-site groups. How can I create the first website, and then export the menu and Iks menu and then import it into the next site?

I do have a pro license.

My IKS Menu displays fine on my desktop view, in the shop.

It also displays fine at the bottom of my mobile view, in the shop.

However, I have it in my mobile menu. I use Mega Max Menu, with a plugin, “short code in menu”. The menu in the mobile menu works fine. But I cannot change the display configuration.

In menu view, the spacing is under the image, and the font stays the same, no matter how I try to change it.

But, I have the menu at the bottom of the page as well, and here it displays correctly. Look how pretty!

I have been testing the free version of the plugin, and so far it is great. I am wondering if the Pro version would allow me to filter posts up to a specific date or within a date range? For example, if I use the plugin to display archive categories results, is there an option that would filter the plugin to display posts up until 2018 when clicking on a category, instead of all posts under that category?

Is it a pro feature?

Searched the docs but only found the pro option “Expand current term”.

But to set a class for the current menu item seems like a must have to me…

Hello, I have the Pro version and love the plugin!

But I would like to know how I can set a different color for an extra submenu? So menu 1 = blue, that submenu = green, and that submenu = red. So 3 levels.
How can I set the colors per menu level?

2- change Level shift to be before the icon not before the post title
3-add auto scroll ( reason with the feature Expand current item

Is it possible to display the count for the category (and subcategory) items in the IKS menu on the left?

The menu is fine in Preview mode. The categories are also neatly displayed in the sidebar of the appropriate category however within 2 pages the sidebar is empty. It’s all the same WooCommerce Archive page with sidebar. Used type: Custom WP menu, default settings.

When I have some Trees expanded (pre expanded and remembered expanded), they always show there animation when the page is loaded (eg a link is clicked).
This is rather annoying. Is there a way to stop that from happening, while keeping the animation when it is actually needed?
The Option Menu IN animation is already set to None.

I looked for it for a long time, but finally found it.
So i like to share this.

I added it in the “Additional CSS” of the “Indite” theme

header { min-width: 400px; max-width: 400px; }

The default value is 320px, but with some experimentation, 400px is the best value for me.

And an extra tip, if you do not want the social media bar in this theme, add the following in the “Additional CSS”

.sidebar.s2.group { display: none; }

Is it possible to use 2 different menu’s with 2 different structures.

I want to use “Computer Projects” menu with its own unique categories

and

I want to use “Electronic Projects” menu with its own unique categories

With “Menu source” / “Taxonomy”

But when I add the 2 separate menus as widgets, they both have the same category structure.

What is supported as icon/image when add it to the menu/category?

After 3years I will not ask if you can create any filters. I would kindly ask if adding a filter after retrieving the WP_terms is possible. Something like:

$terms = apply_filters('iks_custom_filter_terms', $terms); 

In order to add a custom woocommerce function.

This is a great feature but the problem is that when the deepest level is reached, we want to hide the menu completely instead of showing a menu. As it is right now you reach the deepest level using the menu then you get a huge menu again which is not nice. Can we add another option that lets users Show or Hide the menu at the deepest level? For example when you using categories and you reach the deepest level, then don’t show the whole menu.

How can i set up the menu to not loose focus, when i click any item?
For now the menu closes as soon as i click any child or parent.
And for me this is a “must have basic function”, that should not to be kept behind a paywall …

Hey there,
while successfully using the menu, i found a small issue with menu entries, that do not have children.
They seem to create a html <p></p> tag combination, that also has some margin. Fun part about this is, the preview in the iks menu section doesn’t show that. So it might be, that it’s my current wp installation causing that behaviour.

Here are some Information about the system i am using:

Menu source taxonomy – > categories

WordPress 6.2.2
PHP 8.1.2
Plugin Version 1.6.0
Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
And using Firefox 115.0.1esr (64-Bit) as browser

Some HTML:

As for now i am trying to write come css to reduce all margins to 0, but i just wanted to check, if anybody else got this issues.
