I have had a great experience using iire social icons. Not only does it work easily and look great on our site, but I emailed support to get some changes and Stephen was able to help update the plugin to meet our site needs. Definitely recommend using iire social icons!

Simply the best social icon plugin. So many customization options compared to others, and it worked well with my theme. I think this plugin has by far the MOST customization options among all other similar plugins. Also light weight, and does not slow down my site loading. I rarely am impressed enough to log into WordPress to give a review, but I am now! GREAT PLUGIN!!!

Crashed my admin panel when I tried to remove it. I had to remove it by FTP. Not sure why it doesn’t want to play nice.
Other plugins are easier to manipulate and don’t cost money for the full version. Also wasn’t clear until after install this was not a full version.

I tried a bunch of social icon plug-ins before I stumbled across this one. This one was exactly what I needed. As a musician I was looking for a plug-in that had icons for soundcloud, bandcamp, itunes, mixcloud and others built in, not just Facebook, Twitter & the handful of usual icons. Iire has tons of icons and the plug-in is straightforward and easy to use. Also, the fact that there are separate settings for widgets and shortcode allowed me to have one set of icons on my page for links to one of my bands using the widget, and then another set of links for my other band using the shortcode in a text widget. On top of that, the developer, Steve, was extremely helpful and attentive. My theme didn’t allow shortcode in text widgets and I’m not an advanced HTML guy, so Steve actually logged into my blog and updated the function.php file for me so that I could use the shortcode in the text widget. I asked him about adding a Google Play Music icon and he added it within 24 hours and even installed into my blog personally. There are a bunch of social icon themes to choose from. Don’t waste your time looking around for the right plug in like I did. Download and install iire and you’re good to go!

This is the widget I’ve been looking for! You can customize the color and the size of your social media icon. Every icon is there waiting for you. It is super easy to use and get it to look just the way you want in your side bar. Don’t look anywhere else, this is the BEST SOCIAL ICON WIDGET!!!

To address a few other reviews, the demo version of the plug-in worked fine for me. I thought it was a great plug-in, and I support great plug-ins I like by buying them or donating (especially when they are very reasonably priced). I had to contact support with some configuration questions, and the developers support was fantastic. It took a little tweaking to get things working with my theme, and the developer helped me. I don’t think the fact that a plug-in is a pay plug-in or that it has a demo mode should be a reason for giving it a bad review.

I have bought the first version of this great plugin, it was just $5.00. Some things didn’t work, so I asked for support. The author, Steve, answered instantly, and fixed all my problems. I gave some suggestions, and he put them into work in his next version. Now he has released even newer version, sent me all the new files I asked for, supported me again, and I think that this is the example of the plugin author that respects the final users of his plugin. I am using it for my sites, and have no intention of using any other, this plugin is so costumizable, responsive, and well supported. Give it a try with the free version, I am sure that you will support the author once you see it at work. GREAT PLUGIN, great icon themes, and great support. I love this plugin. These guys are GREAT. I got the free demo and loved it so I bought the $5 one, for that little cost it was worth it. Well they just did a total overhaul upgrade and I lost my stickers look. SO, I emailed them and someone got back to me FAST. On top of that…I wanted a CUSTOM sticker or two for Amazon, iTunes and Zune as I am a musician. So if you are looking for a GREAT looking icons for your page…this is it!

As I’m sure it is for most of us, having a simple way for people to access your social media networks is really important to me. I didn’t want people to have to scroll through a bunch of different links to find where to access my social media pages. I, being a visual person, knew I wanted something that had easy to use, good quality icons and a variety of options. This has it. The 5 extra dollars to upgrade is completely worth it. Not to mention, the developer has really amazing support! I wanted an icon for Hello Cotton and BlogLovin’ which were not a given option on the plugin, so I emailed the developer and within a day and at no additional cost, he made me my own custom plugin with those icons! Nice idea for a sharing widget but I disagree with it being advertised as giving access to most social media share buttons but users then being asked to donate or upgrade when they try to use some of the icons (not all of them).

This plugin was very easy to download, user friendly and the owner provides hands-down the Best Support you will ever receive!!! I just started using wordpress yesterday and I feel like the owner took his time to explain to me how to customize my settings.
