WP doesn’t even give a warning if IDN:s are being used as WP URL/web URL, it just fails. If this (unmaintained) plugin can solve the problem, why isn’t it already in the core??

i hoped that WP (using 3.8 trunk) was ready to manage IDNA domains by itself.. but no.. i had several problems after editing content (redirecting to the non IDNA domain)

i had 2 possibilities: or to use the Punycode domain in all links, or to use this plugin

which still works (after 2 years of NON updates)
