There were something that caused https to be not 100% safe. With this plugin, https became 100% safe.

This plugin is super simple that removed all the mixed content of the site when we updated the site from http to https. This included images, forms, javascript etc.

This plugin was great for resolving mixed content issues when I switched to HTTPS. It also helped the site load faster. But the reason I only give it two stars is because it forces external HTTP links to HTTPS, which is no good for SEO. Yes, there are still other websites out there not on HTTPS (in my case, it was a link to a government site — no https, can you believe it!?) Also, the plugin’s developer seems to be MIA and does not respond to support questions anymore. If there was an option to EXCLUDE specific URLs, this plugin would really rock, but as of now, it’s lacking the feature set and support that would otherwise make this a truly great plugin.

Works, but it added two forward slashes to all my tel: links. Darn. Had to go through and manually correct it.

Works perfectly out of the box on my WordPress sites!

Works perfect with standard WordPress.
But with woocommerce, there are still links not replaced. you have to solve certain header by hand in fuction.php (wp_head, json api inline code, inline links and other in header html) and, the product image template.
Automattic’s coders. Having to add th “https://” or https:// redundant footprint from media url in the database, are not logical.

Previous plugins with the same functionality broke my site, but with your one everything was loaded at once. Thank you a lot!

Other plugins forcing httsp were not able to rename my database entries only this one fixed it (i tried a lot of them). Thank you very much.

While this plugin saved my life with fixing all of the public facing pages by re-writing all http/https’s to // when management forced us to upgrade to SSL across the board, it also seems to rewrite the urls in the RSS feeds which means that mailing services like MailChimp will break if the RSS article has any images (or other URL’s) in it. I think I may continue to use this plugin, but I have to come up with a solution for our weekly Mailchimp newsletter now.

I just setup my SLL, thought I was going to have to manually change on my image links. This plugin, a clear caching, and BOOM, chrome sees me as Secure. Good stuff. Thanks guys.

This plugin modifies your links in the database without a warning.
if you enable and disable it, re-enabling it would ruin all your links.
use with care.

Many many thanks.

Due to another plugin, Chrome broke the HTTPS integrity and put a red line of the http with a message saying “don’t trust this website”. Then, i have installed this plugin and everything was gone.

The plugin did the job.
BUT…
When you create a link that goes to an external site there is a major issue.
EXAMPLE:
1st – Creating a link like on the backend …
2nd – After it is saved, it gets stripped within the BACKEND to look like…
//search.google.com
3rd – Which then causes the link on the FRONT-END to execute as…
https://mywebsitename.com/https://search.google.com
Which will cause a 404 error.
Look forward to your reply.
