Description
The HTML5 Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.1.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on an unknown function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to perform an unknown action granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The impact of this vulnerability is unknown. References

Hi.
I’m currently in production for one of my clients.
On his -future- former website, the plugin is activated and showing well : https://veloraildefrance.com/
On my production website, the plugin does not show, wether it’s frontend or backend.
The map simply isn’t there.
I tried to uninstall / reinstall, double checked the plugin settings, changed themes… It seems like a deeper issue.
Can you please check the provided page : https://lesensorceleurs.fr/VDF and tell me what’s not going right ?
Thanks in advance.

]]>I can find no basic instructions that tell me where to put data I want to have displayed once the map area is selected by the user. My use case is supplying a listing of native plants by county on a map of Wisconsin counties.
Where do I put the data to be displayed once the user selects the county? Does it need to be entered through an interface, uploaded as a file or either? How is that data to be formatted?
This seems to be the most basic of information about how the plugin works but I cannot find it anywhere.
HI. I need to interact with tooltip content. Do the premium version support it? For more detail, I have some links in the tooltip and users can click on a specific link.
Thank you

]]>Good night, can you help me to identify the reason why the additional information I entered in the “AC” state of my map instead of appearing is called information from my template? The plugin works perfectly, shows the map and information inside the popup but when placing additional information when clicking shows information from some page of my template, I forwarded an email to the template support but I don’t know if they can help me. I suspect that there is some conflict with the anchor added when clicking on the state. Is there a possibility to change this? I appreciate your help.
To reproduce the problem, click on the “AC” status on the map of Brazil.
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
I am trying to add an icon/marker on top of 4 cities to let visitors know about information for each location.
any help would be appreciated.
]]>Hi, there.
So I’m going to use this plugin on my project, but I found something that’s “broken”. When I include a shortname to a map area, it creates a label thing right above the map.
I’ve done a video showing the issue:
It would be cool if this shortname can be used to add buttons or other kinds of assets, to easily navigate through the map. But can you explain to me what this shortname stands for?
Thanks!
]]>I followed the instructions. In the preview the map is loaded correctly, but when I put it online in a paragraph (I’m using gutenberg editor) it only loads a part of it. I attach the link to the page
https://europaverdeliguria.it/europa-verde-regioni/
How can I solve it? Since you’ve been so kind to this step, can you help me solve this problem too? Thank you
p.s. If the map is loaded in short dimension, it works; if the map is loaded bigger, the map is loaded only an half

]]>Hello,
How would I manage large areas with your plugin? I’d need the below areas to be visible and preferably with some sort of an import/export way to configure in bulk (or similar).
– USA (drill down to all 50 states)
– Canada (drill down to all provinces)
– All other regions I don’t need to drill down into but will have one listing for each, maybe just view continents by default for these
Hello,
I’m using the world map (continents) and have two questions:
– Can I hide label. Currently, it has continent names (Africa, Europe… etc)
– When I mouse over for example, it shows “Africa” on top of the label. Can I not display the text?
Thank you!
]]>Someone else raised this issue and your solution pointed to a tinyMCE not being present. However, in our instance, tinyMCE and tinyMCE Advanced are installed and active in our theme.
Is there anything else you can suggest might be causing the issue?
The Javascript console gives the following error messages (see below)… but I don’t know how to resolve them.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
