Hi! I’m using HTML Player version 1.3. Recently player’s progress bar stopped to show playback progress. Sound file is playing, but progress bar is not being filled – only current time is ticking correctly. I tried to install newer version 2.2.1, but before any settings and license number entering it firstly breaks side bar and then ends up in message from WordPress: “Error establishing a database connection”. If I revert to old version 1.3, all works fine. How to fix that problem with progress bar? Thanks for reading.

Basically our audio player is embedded on a page. If you go back or forward in time in audio, it just resets it back to zero. So if youre at 30 seconds and you want to move ahead a bit by clicking the tracking bar, it just goes back to zero.

This issue is fixed IF you refresh the page.

Any idea?

I purchased the PRO version a year and a half ago, but my account on audioplayerwp.com is empty. It’s clear that you’ve updated the user area, but my license is missing from it. Support is not responding. This is very frustrating.

When I upload square video (1080×1080 px), it shows up rectangle like 16/9 on my webpage, it doesn’t keep anymore the original aspect ratio.
it use to work fine since last updates I guess. How can I fix this ?

I’ve been testing this player for a couple weeks now before committing to purchasing PRO version. It has been working flawlessly until this week.

All of a sudden, sometime after Sunday the player has vanished, and all that is displayed is the shortcode. None of the HTML code has changed, and everything was working perfectly when I left the church on Sunday afternoon. When I went to add the Wednesday night audio file, I noticed that the players were gone.

I’m on version 2.1.12 of the plug-in.

Version 6.2.1 of wordpress.

I updated my PHP, Apache2, MYSQL, and all other packages on my server just in case there was a problem there, but nothing has changed.
No changes were made after Sunday when everything was working perfectly.

Cannot get the players to return.

i have the pro version and am really liking its functionality, however, there are certain features that i’d like to see in the settings

when i use the standard player with the fusion skin and don’t pick a poster image i get a default thumbnail image [sticky-default.jpg] which i would like to set. could this be added to the settings?

also, i can set the primary color, etc, but i would like to be able to set the background color [.skin_fusion .plyr .plyr__controls { background: #1f1f1f !important; }]. why is the css set to !important? there’s a window for custom css but it won’t override the existing css – is there a way to change this without hacking the plugin files? it would be a nice feature

Since some days the Playerbutton doesn’t appear for non Admins, but instead is showing the HTML5 standard bullets but until now only on Chrome Desktop Browser.

Awesome little player but I have the following issue…
I have a 3 audio files and have them each in a different player in a accordion in elementor. Tested it… working fine. That is tested with an admin account.

When being logged in as a user I see 2 audio players for each file.
The first one does not play and shows a time of 00:00.
The second one functions as expected.

Any ideas what’s causing this? Thank you

I’ve installed your plug-in, and everything seems fine on PC. But it seems it’s not working with mobile device. (The play icon is not responding, no playing at all)
After checking your code, when on mobile device, it seems “plyr–is-touch” class seems missing.

Would you please look into it?

Hi! Player works well on my website – it plays audio and sound is heard, but all the buttons – play, mute, settings, download, etc. are not visible. Instead of them are empty blocks. Even on the demonstration page this problem is – https://audioplayerwp.com/demo/deme-1-default/ I checked it in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, but there are not buttons displayed.

P.S.: I suppose the plugin version on my website and on the demonstration site are out of date. I own pro version of plugin, but in WordPress plugins list I have never ever seen update option. How to update it manually? Thanks for reading.

I’m looking for a plugin which allows me to load mp3 files from a server directly on my website. Actually it works to enter the URL from one file in my cloud repository into a player and it is played on my website.
Let’s say I have a cloud repository containing 10 mp3 files. I would like to enter the URL of this repository into your plugin, which loads automatically loads them into a playlist. Information like artist, title and so on the plugin somehow recognizes from the file name.
In this way, I only have to upload audio files with a specific filename pattern to my cloud repository and the plugin automatically puts the 10 newest files onto the website.
I think this would be a major change in the backend part of your backend if it has a backend. And there are probably not enough users looking for such a functionality, but maybe yes and I simply don’t know?

Thank you for your plugin.
One question:
during page loading, a player with a skin is displayed for a second, where there is a gear with playback speed adjustment, but after the download is finished, the skin changes to an option without playback speed adjustment.
How can this be eliminated?

When I just tried to edit approximately 90 files the audio URL is missing.

Is that because of the following?

“If you lost your data please import data by navigating to Plugins > Html5 Audio Player > Import data.”

If so, I can’t find where to import data.

And how do I align the player to the left of a page? It always aligns to the centre.
