I have the latest plugin file. But I don’t see a Twitter X icon in the Hootkit social widget. Can you please tell me if it’s been already added or if there are plans to provide that icon variation?

]]>For Content, select Display Excerpt. The length field seems to be ignored when there is an excerpt – the entire excerpt is displayed. When there is no excerpt and the post content is then used, the length is applied.
It seems the logic is something like this:

// get content
// apply length limit

// get content
// apply length limit
// return excerptAside: Please note in the length field that the limit is on words, not characters.

]]>I was wondering how to change the color of the box to the left of the Product Ticker (hootkit). On my Unos Magazine Black theme, the background color of the Product Ticker’s box is red (#dd3333), which doesn’t match my theme color.
Note: I’m not referring to the background of the whole ticker itself, which is customizable in the widgets sections. I’m referring to the square/rectangular box that I think defaults to text saying, “Products,” located to the left of the ticker. (https://ufile.io/fxdpgj7y)

I am working on a website which is has custom post type. How can I integrate custom post type with hootkit! I assume I need to add custom code in function and / or someone else.

Hootkit does not provide selection by Tags, only Categories, e.g. The post list. Is there a way to use Tags to select / filter posts using Tags in the Hootkit Post Lite plugin?

]]>I use the “Neux” theme and the “WPML” plugin’ to create a website on several languages. Also there is installed the “HootKit” plugin to enhance of capabilities of the “Neux”.

Recently I got a 500 error that made my website down, and cannot log into the WordPress CMS. My host support identified the issue was because Hootkit plugin, after they helped my disabling it the site ran again.
When I login and check the Plugins page I see this message:
“The plugin hootkit/hootkit.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.”
