I can’t seem to find Homepage Control plugin in the wp-admin plugin-install.php page.
So I download it and attempted to upload.
I get “You have used your space quota. Please delete files before uploading. Back”

I have tried deleting media, but it doesn’t seem to effect the problem.

Any help would be appreciated

Is compatibility with WordPress 5.5 and jQuery 3.5.1 guaranteed?
Will you be updating the Plugin?

I can install and activate homepage-control plug in, but it has no effect on my homepage. After reading through the documentation it says it will work on any theme that has the “homepage action” in the the theme’s index.php file. I’m running WP 5.42, WooCommerce 4.2 and Storefront theme 2.5.5. There is no homepage action in storefront’s index.php file. Being an updated theme, this surprises me. Am I missing something? is there a work around? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to set a different homepage for DESKTOP and MOBILE.
I would like to KEEP the theme default for DESKTOP

I can get a kinda-list of LATEST posts from wordpress like this:

and I would like either that or a list of the latest posts to be the MOBILE home page

I have a problem with reorder category. If I make a changes in a products>category, nothing changes. It is always the same, by alphabetical order.

Is there any solution?

Hello!

I am having a hard time trying to customize my static homepage. I just installed the Homepage Control plugin and went to Appearance>Customize to work with it, but the following message is showing:

“No homepage components found. Please contact your theme author to make your theme compatible with Homepage Control or see this guide for details on how to do this yourself.”

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling several different themes, but nothing yet. Is anyone familiar with this scenario?

I need help please.

I have installed the homepage control widget, but it’s not working. No matter which sections I deselect in the customiser, they are still showing.

I’ve used this plugin on other websites without issues, so not sure why this os happening now.

Can someone point to me where it explains how to setup Storefront Homepage Blog?

I am not even sure what it supposed to do. Show the most recent blog post on homepage? (That’s what I would like to do)

The prices shown for variable products shows range “From” and the min price is equal to the price ex VAT for the product (= -20%). It should only display the From price, including VAT and not show an on sale price at all. It’s hard to explain but I hope you understand…

I am using Storefront with the Homepage Control and Paralax Hero Plugins.

I like the appearance of it, but it won’t allow me to add content.

I’d like to add a post or perhaps some text. I have a feeling there is an easy solution but I have been playing around for a while with no luck.

I have a Woo Theme using Framework 5.5.5 and I want to add on the index page the h1 and h2 tags. Where is that done?

I know in the Whitelight theme there’s an Intro Message but that looks to be just a H1. Can anyone help me?

I’m using Woo Theme Whitelight. In the Portfolio section I added a new section called Upcoming Projects to the others I have in there. When I add a new item to the Upcoming Projects section it also appears on the index page. How can I keep it from appearing on the index page?

For the mobile and tablet browsers, the product thumbnail is so large that I can’t fit other products in there. Is there some way to edit this so that the images resize when using a different sized screen?

I have the latest WordPress 4.8 and Storefront template. I want to add featured products to my homepage. When I am signed in as admin, everything is ok. But when I sign out, featured products have weird source code under the add to cart button. What can be wrong?

I can’t separte WooCommerce sections using the “Homepage Control” plugin.

I’m using Storefront theme and WooCommerce plug in.

How do I edit homepage control components to say something else?
I hope someone can help. I have been searching for a few days with know answers.
I also noticed wooCommerce folks are not replying to many questions?

I realise this was an issue in the past.

I have also tried the previous workarounds, i.e. disabling WooThemes Helper, deactivating and reactivating the page template etc.

No luck still – the blocks won’t re-order via drag and drop and they cannot be deactivated via check-boxes.

I noticed this plugin was last updated some 11 months ago and lists its compatibility up to v.4.2.8. But seeing as how we are up to WP version 4.5.2 at this point and considering the fact that among the plugin authors are both Woothemes and James Koster, I was wondering what the current status of this plugin is?

Seeing as how Storefront is a flagship theme for Woothemes I would expect this plugin to be under active development and much used. So I am a bit surprised for it to seemingly not be actively developed.

Hello. I really like this plugin but I’m lost when it comes to coding.

How would I go on about translating the different categories to my website language. I could do this manually, would just like to know how. For example the text “Shop by Category”, this I would like to translate to my primary language which is not English.

How do I check if a comoponent is enabled/disable.

Normaly one would check if ( get_theme_mod( 'some_component_on' ) === true ) or something similar – how do I say check if the category section is on or off in Storefront?
