I was looking for a Twitter feed importer so that I could import other feeds – not my own. That was tough to do. I also don’t understand how to fill in the info for other plugins that I tried.

I made a new account in twitter and my new tweets were not imported to my web site. I got the message “No tweets were returned by the Twitter API. Please try again later.”. After some hours we found out that in the table hl_twitter_users there is some another user_id. It happened because the type of column twitter_user_id is INT and is too short for a new twitters id’s. We changed it on BIGINT and now everything is OK.
Please, pay attention with it!

I have yet to find a Twitter widget that works as well or as fast as this one. However, the one thing holding it back is that there’s no option for a follow button. I have only one Twitter account and I want people to be able to include, at the very least, a link to my Twitter page so people can follow me easily.

Our tweets and avatars are displayed on top of each other, which kind of makes the plugin useless to us (We’re using the PageLines template).

I give it 3 starts due to the potential, rather than 1 for the failure. i really like the fact that you can display several twitter accounts, it’s just a shame that it doesn’t work – for us, anyways.

This extension works well with version 3.4.2 of WP.
Simple setup and use.
Requires some skill to adjust the results to the theme other than the default theme.
Advantage over other extensions: tweets are not keep among the blogs-posts unlike the extension “OZH ‘Tweet Archiver”
