We’re looking to create a new version of our site, starting from scratch, but would like to maintain our existing meeting codes. Is there a way to transfer my meeting codes to a new site? If not, is there a database table that I can copy?

Users of our website who are not logged in are getting the ‘invalid code’ message whenever they enter the meeting code. If they log in, they are able to get to the Jitsi page. This is happening for meetings that have been working successfully for years.

I am exploring ways of contributing to the plugin. Your code is super great, but I am still having some problems in understanding how it works. Would you be so kind and comment:

What I want to do is to have the same functionality that is on the admin side (hello-here-admin-main.php), but instead of having it just there, also have it on the shortcode and on the public part (I assume the template being under public/partials?).

Why? I want to any user allow to book, delete and see the rooms themselves. Therefore I have added user_id to the db table as a relationship. And I want simply to have a shortcode that I could paste in any page and have the functionality there.

I’d appreciate your guidance as I would like to try to follow your way of writing things. ??

I’ve been finding for the last few days that sometimes when two users enter the same meeting code, they’re being brought to different destinations in Jitsi. This is happening both with recently created meetings and meetings that were created several months ago. For instance, yesterday, I invited four people to a meeting. They all typed in the same code, but two people ended up in one room and two ended up in another room.

I have installed this plugin for a test on a website. It works on Chrome for me but not for Firefox. Using Firefox if I enter a conference in Jitsi website it works perfect, but not on conference using the plugin. I was not asked about use microphone or not and no such option to “unblock” microfone.
How could I make it works properly?

Hi, what is the use of the schedule function?
I expected that after the code is given, and if the scheduled time is not there yet, there will be a message that the meeting is at the scheduled time.
But that isn’t how it works, after given in the code, the meeting is started.

I really (really!) appreciate this plugin because it’s so simple but so good.

Only thing I am missing though is an option to change the default language? I was trying out another jitsi-plugin where the code “default_language=german” helped but it’s not working with the “[show-meet]”.

Is there any way? Help?

I am testing your plugin in order to include it in a future project.
I am currently experiencing a problem.
I installed a version 5.5.3 of WordPress because I thought there was a compatibility issue with version 5.6, but the problem still exists.
The installation is carried out correctly, the creation of a new meeting works, so far no problem.

When I enter the code to access the meeting it works, however I have an error message concerning the microphone and the camera.

The message is as follows:
“Audio and video error: cannot read property ‘getUserMedia’ of undefined”

the access code for the meeting is : 8036355

Do you know why it doesn’t work?
