I’m facing an issue with the Navigation Menu element in your Header and Footer Elementor addon.

I’ve set custom breakpoints in Elementor (tablet 749px – mobile 575px).

However, when switching to “toggle menu” mode (for mobile or tablet view), I’ve noticed that the menu follows its own internal breakpoints (tablet > 1025px – mobile > 768px) instead of the ones I’ve defined globally in Elementor.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this issue, I would be grateful.

Hello I have built a header and footer on my site however they don’t show on mobile devices even though I have them set to show on the responsive option under advanced. Can anyone help me get them to show?

I am building out a new site for a client and right now, it has the sort-of ‘standard’ layout of (1) site logo far left, (2) name of the company and (3) main nav menu spread across the width of the header container. However, they now want to add a couple of top-line menu items which is really causing the nav menu to compete for space.

My goal was to create a “sub-section” beneath the top line header, remove the main nav menu from it and add it to the second row and center it on the screen. I DO see that I can add a second row to the header which is nice, but the problem is that it inherits the column structure of the first header row (so, three columns at first, and if successful, it could become two columns. Is there any way to make it such that the two rows of the header could contain differing numbers of columns?

When Deactivate your plugin it works fine. Could you please check your plugin compatibility with elementor pro.

Find this weird bug on one of my website.

I have the mobile menu on my header with the submenu in full screen size. When i toggle it, it’s working fine. But if i let the submenu open and then i scroll the page, the menu is going outside of the screen.

I think it’s the left position that is reset to 0 (as it should be when the menu is hidden) even if the menu i still open.

I can’t debug it more but i think the css class that handle the shown/hidden state of the submenu is triggered when scrolling even if the menu is still open. And that make only the left position to reset.

If anyone know what can i do to patch this on my site.

As, of a few days ago, we are completely unable to load or edit any ehfe footers, headers, or template files. We already went through your checklist of items, and this hasn’t helped at all. Nothing has changed on our site since then. I think you may have a compatibility issue with Elementor, or maybe relying on blocks now?

This is critical for us as we need to make website edits for launch. Also Elementor Pro is not compatible with StoreFront theme, so we will have to start searching for a new solution.

When I go to Appearance > Elementor Header & Footer Builder, and the click on “Edit with Elementor” for my Header, Footer or Before footer, those pages do not open up.

The pages try to open up, the status bar loads fully, but no content is displayed.

I have disabled my caching plugin, but still the pages do not open up, so I can not edit my Header, Footer or Before footer pages.

Can you please help with this?

Hi. I’m trying to align my hamburger menu icon to the right. For some reason, the right-hand alignment only works when using the ‘Horizontal’ or ‘Vertical’ menu layout option, but not for the ‘Flyout’ or ‘Expanded’ layout options. Does anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this?

After importing a page my header and footer disappeared on all my pages on the front end.

They are still visible on all pages when logged in to my admin.

I tried rebuilding, update settings – on all pages and entire website but nothing seems to work.

When I am in elementor header or footer build mode everything looks fine.

I was hoping to get some answers before deleting and reinstalling the plugin.

I have the plugin on a couple of other websites with no problems – even after adding or importing an elementor page.

I created a header using this plugin.

I saved it and now when I try to edit it with elementor I get a ‘the preivew could not be loaded’ Error 404.

The shortcode works for the page, I can embeded it in a different page but I can edit the actual page.

How do I fix this?

Can i export a header and footer i have from one site to another?

Pretty sick and tired of updating your plugins to have them critically error crash my site which is clearly documented below. Perhaps do some better testing. Your plugin has done this 3 times in the past year. So pissed. Get your stuff together.

I’m new to web design and am working on a WordPress site from a local docker environment I set up.

I’ve built a header navigation menu using your plugin but I don’t want any icons beside each menu item even when they have sub-menus. There is no “None” option in the “Submenu Icon” dropdown. I tried editing the frontend.css file as it’s the only one I can see that has the classes listed that show up when I inspect the arrow icons. Everything I’ve tried doesn’t appear to work and the arrows load every time.

When rendering a page, there is a problem loading css or js code in the main menu, which is responsible for the correct display of the search icon. The Problem occurs only for a while until some code are readed. Until a few days ago, everything was rendered correctly. I have been testing with Elementor Pro through the beta cycle and they have now released the 3.25 version of Elementor Pro and it causes a fatal error on the frontend of the site – backend still works.
There has been no problem with the beta/dev releases until this release version.
I am also using ultimate addons for Elementor from you and Astra Pro as the site theme.

Can you please take a look as have had to rollback to Elementor Pro 3.24.4 to get things working again.

I’m having trouble rendering the header menu properly. Unfortunately, this error appeared today and I do not know how to deal with it. At the moment of rendering the page, first a huge icon search appears, and only after a while the css styles load and the page renders in the correct way. I tried to move the stylesheet files up to the head section, but the problem still occurs.

Hi guys, I have 2 questions.

1. For desktops, I’ve created a header with logo in the middle and 3 menu items on both sides. For this, I made a “menu right” and a “menu left” under Appearence>menus. Now, the default mobile version has 2 hamburger menus on both sides of the screen (obviously). What I want is 1 hamburger menu on the right with all the 6 menu items. The solution I thought of: create a 3rd menu under Appearence to be used on mobiles (if possible). What are you thoughts?
2. The logo is not showing up on mobiles.

I’m also using the Sticky header effects plugin.

Hey, I made a header that shows perfectly fine on the home page. But when you go to the other pages, you see the color changes from white to red and the alignment is off.

I have no idea how to solve this. Any solutions for this?

My cart icon has no icon, it’s basically a square as if it were a cart. It’s working perfectly, but without an icon. What can it be?

I have the free Elementor plug-in installed and also the “Header and Footer Builder” plug-in by Brainstorm Force to create Headers and Footers. It’s worked for years but suddenly I can’t access the headers and footers to edit. I can see them all when I go to under “Appearance” and click on the “Elementor Header and Footer Builder”. If I try to click on one to “edit with elementor” I keep getting an error. It says: “Sorry the content area was not found in your page”. Does any have a similar problem?

I tried several sites which I all built the same way and each one will not let me edit the headers and footers now.

I am not a skilled website designer and just know the basics. Thanks.

there is a way to disable totally Font-Awesome request from your plugin.

I have disabled Font-Awesome inside Elementor settings but your plugin force to load it again.

I found <link> tags in <head> with this id “hfe-social-share-icons-fontawesome-css”, “hfe-nav-menu-icons-css” and “hfe-social-icons-css” that load font-awesome.

Hello, I am using Elementor and Elementor Header & Footer Builder, and my site is in Arabic language. They were working well together, but after updating the Elementor Header & Footer Builder to the latest version two days ago, the content alignment of the page I created with Elementor changed from “right” to “left”..
In the elementor setting it’s still “right” but in the page it shows “from left”..
And when i change the content alignment from elementor setting to “left”.. it shows in the page from “right”.

When I disable Elementor Header & Footer Builder, the issue goes away.

I read your post about not loading pages to edit in Elementor but I have a lot of memory allocated en my permalinks are rebuild to check. Still I can’t edit headers, footers and blocks in from your plugin in Elementor. The E keeps flashing, nothing happens. I tried a roll-back to H&F version 1.6.42?and it is working fine. All my plugins are updated to latest versions. The only thing that’s not working is H&F version 1.6.43.
What could be the problem? And what is the solution?

I’m encountering an issue with the Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin when using WP-CLI to export custom post types. The elementor-hf custom post type does not appear in WP-CLI exports, while it is accessible through the standard WordPress export functionality.

Export Elementor Header & Footer templates in xml file – wp export –post_type=elementor-hf

Steps Taken:

1. Plugin Initialization: Confirmed that the plugin is active and initialized properly. The custom post type should be registered in the init hook.
2. Testing Custom Registration: I added the following code to my theme’s functions.php file to manually register the custom post type when WP-CLI is detected:
