With version 2.0, the “gtmkit.CF7MailSent” feature that I use for conversion in Google ADS in the contact form 7 plugin does not work. It works when I use version 1.23.3. I am using Flatsome Theme php 7.4.

When utilizing the Google Ads templates – Do I need to install all of the templates (Conversion Tracking, Enhanced Conversion Tracking, Dynamic Remarketing)?
I mean, does the Enhanced Conversion Tracking include everything in the “regular” Conversion Tracking Template?

Hello again,

(I opened this topic because I thought it would be better to open a new topic rather than writing again after the solution was given in the other topic. )

I noticed it after some friends warned me. Add to cart event does not work in simple products within the product loop. There is no problem since there is no add to cart in variables (so I missed), but when add cart is directly usable, add to cart event does not trigger. I wanted to test it without sharing it in the Bricks group, as it is fully compatible with Bricks.

You can try the product called “simple product test” at the end of the loop in the link here.

Hi, I have set up GTMKit, imported the containers to GTM including enhanced conversions, enabled enhanced conversions and user data. However, revenue data is not being sent to GA4 and Google Ads since we switched to GTMKit.

I tried troubleshooting including disabling all caching but the issue persists.

Tags fire and I don’t see any errors in GTM. Only potential isssue is that this “Send ecommerce data” shows as False. However, didn’t want to make any changes to the imported containers (only changed the constants).

Any ideas?

Hello,
I use your plugin to measure all the data to Google Analytics and also AdWords.
My website use Bricks builder and I can’t track some actions via Analytics and AdWords because of Bricks Ajax “Add to cart”. So in my case i do not see the “events” on Google Analytics.
Can you help me to solve?this?issue??

I just switched from GTM4WP to GTM Kit today, and while testing with Google Tag Manager’s preview function, I noticed that the add_to_cart event is being triggered twice, even though I only clicked the button once. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks!

Hi GTM KIT Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently using the Chauffeur Booking System plugin on my site, and I’ve encountered an issue with the WooPayments checkout integration. The plugin works fine with other booking forms on my site and integrates with WooCommerce checkout without problems.

Here’s the setup:

Users complete the booking form, which includes maps, pickup date, and other details.
They then proceed to the WooPayments checkout page for payment.

However, when clicking “Pay for Order,” I receive a “Critical Error” message. Despite this error, the transaction is processed correctly: money is deducted, order details are sent to both me and the customer, and the order status is updated to “Confirmed Paid” (I’ve tested this using Woo test mode).

I’ve already reached out to the Chauffeur Booking System support team, and they’ve confirmed that the issue is not on their side.

Could you please assist in diagnosing and resolving this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

First of all, great plugin, switched from Google Analytics Pro and considered both GTM Kit and GTM4WP but went with GTM Kit after some consideration and have been impressed with how lightweight the plugin is as well as having all required features.

We have quite a large site with 60,000+ SKUs so we’re looking to re-enable page caching with FastCGI (or WP Rocket as a last resort) asap but I’m a little bit concerned in regards to caching and the dataLayer. We have the user data option enabled in WooCommerce integration to allow for enhanced conversions in Google Ads.

FastCGI cache will be setup to not cache or serve from the cache if user has added anything to the cart or is logged in. As you might expect, it also won’t cache or serve from the cache on user specific pages such as: cart, checkout, my account, order received etc

I have two questions:

1) With the above setup, should I be concerned that standard/ecommerce (not containing user data) events in the dataLayer will be cached and thus potentially mess with our analytical data?

2) It’s my understanding that the user data is only included in the purchase events within the dataLayer? Since our purchase event only triggers on the checkout/order received page which are not cached anyway, plus this is after the user has added something to the cart (which triggers the skip-cache before they even make it to the checkout), I’m assuming I don’t need to worry about the warning that states:

“Including user data is not compatible with full page caching.

Full page caching will cache user data making it the same for all users. There are ways around this, but it depends on the chosen cache solution and is only for advanced users.”?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a professional installed and connect my google tag manager but when it was installed in the site, a string of text show up at the top and some times bottom of the site all in all pages.

Please, consider changing the closest selector of the add_to_cart button script on the single product page.

Into this file woocommerce.js

From:

To:

if ( eventTargetElement.closest( '.single_add_to_cart_button' ) ) {

Please, remove :not(.disabled,.input-needed)

Especialy .disabled class.

This occurs the dataLayer event is not send into shops using AJAX to adding product to cart.

Because after click on the button, woocommerce add class .disabled to button, and then IF statement rule in this moment return FALSE, and script sending dataLayer not fire.

I test this on shop page created with Bricks Builder, and add_to_cart event not trigger on single product page (no matter simple or variable product).

I had to change your script and now add_to_cart event is send to dataLayer, and everything works fine.

How can I run inline script before gtmkit?

Directly before:

wp_enqueue_script( 'gtmkit' );

I use add_action wp_head, but this is always after gtmkit.

Hi, so whenever i activate the gtmkit, it actually shows the datalayer in the order details, its so much text that its annoying to have showing all the time for each product line.

Perhaps it’s not supported – but i’m trying to setup GTM kit on a wordpress multisite (sub directories for each region) – the 1st instance the GTM Container tag saves, but the other sites, it doesn’t save at all (just refreshes then is empty on reload, and other sites the admin page itself won’t load

Hi,

Since implementation last month GTM/GA4 is reporting purchase and revenue, and a few other Ecommerce events, but not begin_checkout which I really want to see data for.

Is there anything simple I may be missing for this to report automatically, when other data is working please?

Hello,

First of all thanks for this great plugin. I have two issues though if you have any time to help.

I have used the GTM template provided in the documentation and all Woocommerce events are triggering apart from purchase as you can see in the following screen

Hi,
The add_to_cart event only trigger when we update the quantity of the product on cart page.
Could you please apply the fixes ASAP to allow the add_to_cart event trigger while click on the add to cart button( class selector “.single_add_to_cart_button”) on the single product page?
