I have an issue whereby my purchase events don’t show any event data layer. So I am hoping this plugin will assist with that. I’m just not sure what settings to have on/use.
We have a Tag script running in the header & body of the site already. So what should the setting then be in the plugin?

Hello, I’ve been trying to get analytics to work for weeks now to no avail.

I followed the simple step-by-step guide from your documentation and uploaded the presets to GTM.

When I make a test purchase with tag assistant I can see GA4 Ecommerce Add To Cart Tag, GA4 Ecommerce Purchase Tag etc firing just fine and I can see all the important data in the data layer, but for some reason only acquisition and engagement events are being reported in analytics. The purchase event and add to cart event are working fine but when I go to the monetization submenu in analytics every value (revenue, purchases, add to cart, item view etc.) is sitting at 0. It’s really weird because in Realtime I can see purchasers when a transaction happens but they never show up as purchasers in the monetization and ecommerce submenus.

If anyone has a suggestion I’m all ears

Do we able to track woocommerce refunds. As you know we are able to make refund from admin panel.

I should integrate the following events:

add_shipping_info, with its shipping_tier parameter
add_payment_info, with its payment_type parameter

in addition we need to add a newsletter subscription event (which you can call e.g. “subscribeNewsletter”) to be sent on the dataLayer following successful subscription to the newsletter (possibly with a parameter to differentiate the type of subscription e.g.: via Pop-Up / form in the footer etc). For example:

subscribeNewsletter { form: footer}

Is it possible to manage everything via the PRO version of the plugin?
If not, are there hooks or workarounds that enable this?

I have a big problem with your plugin, the pixel code appear at the bottom of all my product pages, as you can see on the screenshot. Put the default template or disable all the plugins dosent change anything, do you have an idea of what’s the problem ?

I have turn on the multicurrency feature on woocommerce payments.

The purchase events when it sends the value to the datalayer it is sent on the local currency?

My question is since although the final currency will be always USD, depending on the country, the customers sees the price on his local currency, which is aftewards converted to USD

Today I am using GTM4WP but for whatever reason the event purchase is not being fired on the data layer once a purchase is completed.
My question is if the plugin will solve this issue?
This is solved by the free version or do I need the PRO?

If this is the case I need to replace GTM4WP with your plugin or keep both?

Hi, I have the exact same issue as the previous “Add to cart tag not fired” topic, where the add_to_cart tag is not being fired but purchase works fine.

I also have a non-standard add to cart buttons implementations i.e. Add to Cart buttons on the homepage and other pages, using forms with quantity inputs, etc.

Is there a hook I can use to bind the basic add to cart functionality with your plugin’s event?

I would like to integrate the Barion payment gateway via Google Tag Manager. It is a custom HTML tag. I have WooCommerce webshop. It is possible to integrate with this plugin? The Barion is able to integrate via Google Tag Manager. My problem Barion payment function is not apperanced on the chechout page when I integrated with another Tag Manager plugin. Thanks!

I’m trying to implement google tag manager for my website (digestic-health.com) and installed the free plugin. When I go to set up the plugin and I see the fields to enter the gtm snippets it doesn’t match up to what google’s tag manager offers (when using a server side setup). Is there something else to put in those fields as currently I don’t see any data layer being created and I’d like to start using this plugin to track woo commerce events (and if the free plugin works well we plan on upgrading to pro).

Hi There,

I installed the premium version of GTM for Woo Commerce 3 months ago. Since then, we’ve had about 150 purchases, however none of these are reflected in my Google Analytics Goals tracking. Additionally, none of the events I set up are reflected or tracking in GA.

Can someone please help me troubleshoot? Thanks.

for a while now I cannot see my transactions in Google Analytics anymore. It used to work fine. Could you maybe help me out here?

I used your plugin for the datalayer and set it to (Off (only add data layer to the page source) and installed the GTM on my website with Borlabs Cookie.

When I do a test purchase on my website the event in the datalayer is: dataLayer.push({event: “gtm.load”, …}) and not purchase or transaction. Can that be correct? Does this have to do with why the tag is not firing?

I have noticed that I am not receiving data from the logged-in customers of our site.
Is this related with the COOKIES OPT-IN feature you were mentioning in the description?

The code is well placed for all the users but it seems that is not executed for the logged-in customers.

Hi,
I cannot track the event “add to cart”. Do not know why but the tag is not fired when I add a product to the cart.
Instead, the event purchase works perfectly!
Any idea how to fix this?

Activated the plugin on 2 websites and on both of them, when trying to save the plugin settings, I get “Error: Options page gtm_ecommerce_woo_settings not found in the allowed options list.”

WP version: 5.6 or 5.7
PHP version: 7+
Server: LiteSpeed
Theme: Astra
No other tracking or GTM plugins active

With the auto-update of the plugin last night, both websites that I use it on went down with a critical error and I was able to get them back up by disabling the plugin from FTP.

Hello<br />First of all, thanks for this great plug in. The GTM tags delivered with json, saved a lot of time and is suffiscient as a starting point.

This way or another i have few wishes to be added in the next releases if possible.
i wish i could choose the data those are sent with the tag fired. (extend the event parameters), i think this could be done in Event.php anyway would be lost with every next update of the plugin.

I am also facing following problem i am not able to solve ($me->KnowledgePhp =0;)

i am not sure, if that is the reason why i dont get any purchases into my analytics, even though the tag is firing correctly.

next thing i observed is that the add to cart is not working on my instalation.
I extended the tag also with click_class as also click text, but no luck.
