As a nonprofit founder, I know just enough to be dangerous in the digital marketing space. I have lost so much money in previous years because I did not know what I was doing.

Gregg and Adrian have been amazingly supportive of me and my digital consultants. They really “think” before sending an email response and have caught some potential problems in my site. I am truly thankful for how they helped me switch to Groundhogg and Mailhawk.

I am looking forward to implementing through the new platforms, and getting the most out of the many cost effective options offered through Groundhogg and Mailhawk.

I feel confident moving forward with them.

Goundhogg is fully integrated into WordPress rather than a stand-alone CRM, making it easy for designers, developers and reular users to implement and use. Using it with pro features and MailHwak makes for a really simple combo that just works. Love it.

I have been a Keap – formerly Infusionsoft – user and partner for a number of years. However, my businesses do not really need a complicated and expensive CRM. Groundhogg is the perfect solution for helping me manage members’ experience and scale my membership platforms.

I have been using Groundhogg for just over a year now and it is my first experience of creating and using a CRM, full stop. This means that the automation processes did not exactly come intuitively to me and I’m still learning! As someone who has not had knowledge of working with a CRM system before a couple of things stand out. Firstly, Adrian and the team at Groundhogg are not standing still and “resting on their laurels”. The capabilities of the system have been extended and improved several times in the year that I’ve been working with it, including a couple of big improvements. Secondly the quality of Support is up there with the best of all the software developers that I’ve come across. I’m really happy I came across and chose Groundhogg to power our CRM.

I was looking into a CRM option for my business and looking for something that would connect to my WooCommerce site. In a couple of Facebook groups Groundhogg’s name kept coming up from happy customers. I did a bunch of reading and watching videos from Groundhogg and decided to make the move and it has been a great experience. Their team is extremely helpful, Adrian sets up an onboarding call with you, and they will install for free on one website. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

I have used ActiveCampaign for almost a decade and thought this would be a profitable switch. As we do WP Development and can resell GH for more than my AC affiliate payouts.

I saw that it could do “enough” for me to be okay making the switch.

But…

Now that I have really dived into the platform, it is FAR superior to ActiveCampaign.

This has more variability, customization and saves me a ton of $$$ not having to use Make or Zapier automation platforms. Custom payloads on Webhooks and the Listener Benchmark are borderline mind-orgasmic!!!

I feel like I have been living in the dark ages until now.

I don’t think I will miss the 8 seconds it took my AC automations to update upon each change, LOL!

Thanks to Adrian and the whole Groundhogg community for a great product. We are so excited about what this is doing for our team and clients!!!

Please be encouraged to keep rolling out new features as you have been doing. It’s always fun to have new toys to play with!!!

Overall, this product is very good. I do think the UI/UX could be improved upon, but perhaps there are methods to their madness and it works for other businesses. It looks like it’s definitely gearing up to be a full-fledged CRM and I’m really only using to allow my admins to send emails to their users. There is definitely a need to have a built in drag and drop form builder because all the steps required to hook a form plugin’s form into this is a bit cumbersome. Again, perhaps a better UI/UX could solve this.

We’re cutting our teeth with Groundhogg and am just sharing our rating for excellent support.

There’s been a couple of issues in setting up the site along with a discovered bug.

To date, the advice and support has been timely and helpful in resolving the issues.

We are using AWS for sending emails so we had some issues with setting CRON jobs which weren’t playing nice with CPanel. These have been resolved and its now working correctly. So hat’s off for great support.

Groundhogg has been very good to me so far! Yes, there are some things I would like to change, but that is true with every software. Where groundhogg really shines is in it’s ability to be customized. The automation includes the ability to use webhooks which is very useful. Support is fast and helpful.

Update**- I’ve stopped using Groundhogg at this point. Mainly, for the following reasons:

• The update cycle is not as tight as it should be for production software. Each new update fixes and breaks a part of the script. Leaving the user with unpredictable software.
• The software is still finding itself. Meaning features you may depend on now, may not be available in the next release.
• The owner is very engaged in support. However, his ego seems to be a sole deciding factor in which features will be available in the future. He forgoes a crowd sourced feature request list in favor of own personal decision about what is good for the user.

Groundhogg is a great platform that can be used to create a really nice, solid marketing automation infrastructure in any business. The support is outstanding and the documentation is great. As an agency user, this gives us everything that we need to provide a full-system solution to our clients.

We’ve adopted Groundhogg, which now replaces both our previous CRM and an email marketing SAAS provider.

Groundhogg strikes us as a very mature product. It is very intuitive, and easy to use for anyone familiar with WordPress and CRMs.

Is there room to improve? Yes. The email designer is good but have a few more options. The form designer is similar, though most people will probably use a dedicated form plugin anyways. But these and many other issues are already being addressed in the most recent and upcoming updates, and the changes thus far really have made Groundhogg not just look nicer but *function* better. For example, the recent contact filter is very powerful and now even more intuitive.

Our experience is that their customer support is excellent: good documentation, a lively Facebook community in which the developers and support team are active, video-based online courses, many YouTube videos, and “office hours” where you can ask anything and get help and advice.

Whether it is in setting up email campaigns, centralising information on our contacts, or otherwise communicating with our users, Groundhogg has proven tremendously easy to use and very useful.

The initial draw of Groundhogg was obviously the price, being so much lower than competitors like Active Campaign, which I’d initially looked at, that coupled with the fact they don’t hold all your customers’ data, but having reached out to them for support, they are also quick, friendly and on point with their troubleshooting, and very personable aswell, which is a huuuuuge bonus in today’s world. So highly recommend.
