Does this plugin work with multisite installations and if so, Network wide or only individual site activations? Thanks!
]]>Hi! We were getting nailed with spam and when all else failed, your plugin worked. Unfortunately, it’s blocking our ability to track conversions. I’m not sure how to resolve this any advice/guidance? I’d really appreciate it!
]]>Just curious if marking a number of entries that did not get filtered as spam automatically will ‘train’ the system to recognized them more in future?
Our client received almost a dozen form submissions in a day from the same person. It appears to be a single person, and they entered the same email address, name, etc. But they are pretty clearly deranged and making some threatening messages to the organization. We just wondered if tagging all of those messages as ‘spam’ may help the system catch future ones from the same person (assuming they enter same/similar information)? The messages all came from 2 different IP addresses, but we know these will probably change.
At some point, our quarterly form testing submissions have been marked as spam and now it seems impossible for any of our admins to make a form submission that isn’t caught as spam. We’ve tried different email / IP address etc, marking entries as not spam. Looking through the other entries it seems that no other legitimate form submissions are being caught as spam to apart from our admins, so Zero Spam is doing a really good job! Can we whitelist admin users or reset the spam identification.
]]>I suspect all entries, including spam that’s filtered out by GF Zero Spam, are included into form_submit reports in GA4. Is there a way to exclude spam entries?
]]>Hello, we use GF and GF anti-spam (with GF honeybucket enabled for forms at the same time).
We get a lot of this exact spam (below), and would like to see if there are any filters or blacklisting coming soon for GF anti-spam:
First name: gvDIgrDT
Last name: gvDIgrDT
Email: [email protected]

Hi, we have installed your plugin can you confirm that all emails coming in will either be sorted into ‘inbox’ or ‘spam’ no emails that the plugin deems to be spam will be deleted before we can monitor the function? Thanks
]]>Hi, I installed this plugin on a client site recently, and it works very well. And I love that we can check the spam that was blocked. The plugin info shows a banner that says this plugin has not been updated in 7 months. Is this plugin still being updated? I hope so because I like it.
]]>I have a form with about 3000 entries marked as spam. Some of the entries aren’t spam, and it would be faster to review all 3000 entries via an exported file. How can all the spam entries be exported?
]]>When a user submits a form using a desktop computer, the submission goes through. However, when they submit the form using a mobile device, the entry is marked as spam. I confirmed that the issue is this plugin. The forms work fine on mobile devices when this plugin is disabled.
]]>Hello, we are having cases with your plugin, which we love and use in many of our clients, where many false positives of SPAM detection are occurring.
We mark those emails as “Not SPAM” but similar emails marked as SPAM continue to come in.
Any idea what could happen?
Thank you very much and greetings.
]]>Hello everyone, unfortunately no spam reports are being sent on one of our customer sites. In general, sending emails via the website works, but spam reports are still not being sent. We also see via an email logging plugin that no email is being generated/sent. There are spam entries, so an email should be sent. What could be the reason for this?
]]>With the recent GF Stripe 5.1.0 add-on that enables alternate payment options such as Apple/Google Pay, etc. the Zero Spam plugin is catching legit entries and marking them as spam. When this happens the payment charges are going through, but the entry stops at that point and gets flagged, it does not continue processing to mark the entry as paid, to add the payment ID, or run other processes such as Zapier.
After turning off Zero Spam, the entries processed correctly.
In speaking with the GF dev team they suggested I pass this information to you guys to investigate. Please look into it and release and update as we love Zero Spam.
]]>Hi, we had some troubles in combination with the Stripe Addon. It was not possible to be forwarded to the confirmation page and no E-Mails have been sent. Maybe you can test this as well?
Thanks, Gregor
]]>I think Gravity was just updated. Ever since, my client has their forms filled out nd they go to a default “Thank You” as opposed to the redirect it’s supposed to, and the form isn’t registering at all. Also, no notification.
I actually disabled GF Zero Spam plugin and it seems to work again. Not sure what’s going on. It’s now off. Just wanted to see if you heard rumblings of others having this issue.
This is an adult (but we are LEGAL!) business. Site is PG13. I’ve alerted the specific girl who I linked that she may receive a test.
I also have 3 forms that can be submitted in a 4 hour period from an IP (in case you try #4 and it doesn’t go through).
Thank you
Cancel this support ticket. I’m still having issues. THX
]]>I have Gravity Forms 2.7.1 and Gravity Forms Zero Spam 1.3 installed. I understand there are no settings for Zero Spam. Why am I still getting spam?
]]>Hi, I am using this plugin and still getting spam form submissions.
I have enabled google captcha v2 on the site along with zero spam activated but still getting spam entries though.
Can you help me how to prevent that.
]]>Looks like Gravity Forms 2.7 is out and they have a new spam blocking method. Is it using the same method as this plugin? Basically, with 2.7 do I need this plugin anymore?
]]>G’day GravityKit,
I’d like to submit a GH issue and PR to fix, but can only find the old GravityView repo. Is there a new public repo for this plugin under GravityKit, or should I just open a support ticket here and explain the issue?
(the issue is that the plugin doesn’t set the addon _path
so PHP 8.1 has a whinge about null yada yada)
cheers,
Ross
I have installed the gravityform lite plugin on website.
I have one question, how we can send attach day all entries in the notification. Currently there is option to attach single entry.
Thanks
]]>Do entries marked as spam get deleted automatically after a period of time? (If so, how long?)
Thanks.
]]>Hello
The plugin says it blocks notification from being sent OK.
But does it also block feeds from being executed?
For example MailChimp addon, Campaign Monitor addon use the GFFeedAddOn class (https://docs.gravityforms.com/gffeedaddon/).
It adds the email of the GF entry to the mailing lists.
Can you confirm how it works?
Thank you
Hi – just a heads up that when I use the plugin with Gravity Wiz Perks it ignores the confirmation settings and doesn’t send the email notitification.
]]>GF: 2.6.7
GF Zero Spam: 1.2.3
reCaptcha: v2
It seems that bots are still able to bypass this plugin. I’m plagued with SPAM entries, even though the forms are set up to use this plugin. Recommendations?
]]>G’day GravityView,
I notice that you’ve added an autocomplete attribute to the hidden field now. I suggest that instead of setting it to “off”, you instead set it to “new-password” because most browsers will ignore “off”. Note that Gravity Forms itself does this for its honeypot field.
cheers,
Ross
When an entry is flagged as SPAM is there a way for it to stop webhooks & notifications?
Thanks
]]>How does the plugin work? Are there certain words that trigger it? Does the plugin send spam to the spam folder so they are not seen?
]]>I’m using GF v2.5. Should I uncheck GF’s “Anti-spam honeypot” setting when your plugin setting is active in the Form Options?
]]>We have a client that has to stay ADA compliant and they’re getting a lot of spam entries on their gravity forms. We’ve typically used the gravity-forms-zero-spam/ for spam and that usually solves issues, but we’re wondering if it’s ADA compliant? We know some of the Recaptcha plugins have accessibility issues for screen readers and the like, so just wanted to make sure we were safe to use this plugin. Thanks!
]]>After running the update that was released today I received this error:

I am a using this plugin on 30 sites and have disabled it temporarily on all 30 sites. Please let me know how to fix it.
