I am seeing the following when I try to recreate my feeds (I had to re-install the add-on after it disappeared).

]]>Hi! I’m looking for a functionality in the MadMimi plugin that would work similarly to Mailchimp’s Gravity forms plugin:
Basically if you have a form hooked up to PayPal and Mailchimp, there’s a new option under the Form Settings > PayPal: https://screencast.com/t/4wnIWANqneW
Not sure if its through PayPal’s plugin or Mailchimps, but it’d be great if MadMimi had this functionality too!
]]>when creating a new feed, this warning occured:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/ihvv/www/dev.ihvv.de/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-mad-mimi/madmimi.addon.php on line 202
My admin says, line 202 is expecting a variable type A, which will be generated by function Foo. But output of Function Foo is not always type A, but F (for instance). But Line 202 requires ONLY variables of type A.
Could you fix it?
]]>Had a user report a problem which I narrowed down to a conflict btwn GF and GF Mad Mimi add-on. The users was provided the confirmation and thought there was an error in the submission. The submitted info is received however. But the user is left with a page and spinner waiting for completion.
I’ll enter this at GitHub after I think of a new login / password combo (mine is already taken).

]]>After automatic upgrade of this plugin to 2.0 version, WP keeps telling me that a new version of the plugin is available and that I should update it. And in the plugins directory there are two 2.0 versions one (stable) and one (beta). And if I try to delete one of them, it will delete the files for both plugins however I just have the (beta) activated. What’s happening here?
Thanks.

]]>Here is what my developer said:
———
Please send them the attached screenshot and just tell them that you’re trying to use their plugin and link it to your MadMimi List. You only have one list, but when you use the plugin, there’s three lists in the dropdown that you can choose from: 1, 1, 7 (Not names). Also the list isn’t fully displayed so you’re not able to tell what list you’re suppose to use.
Lastly, let them know that any of the drop down list options don’t post to your Madmimi account, even with the email routed correctly to the form.
——–
I have a screenshot I can send you to see the drop down issue. Just let me know the email address.
Thanks.
Patrice
The plugin has validated with our MadMimi account and the lists all show up as possibilities; however, when a name and email address is submitted it is not added to any MadMimi list – not just the one that we selected, but NONE of the lists in our account.
Is there something that I should check for a common issue. BTW, I am NOT using any Opt-In Condition. However, I AM using the following fields from my Gravity Forms and putting them in MadMimi:
Email address
First Name
Last Name
Entry Date
User IP
Source URL
I did have the Username field checked (we are allowing the member to choose their own username), but decided I didn’t need it in MadMimi.
I am using this on a form that will allow someone to set up a subscriber account on the WordPress Installation AND add them to the MadMimi email list at the same time. Is that possibly the problem?
Thanks in advance

]]>Hello,
I have downloaded the Gravity forms plugin and have set it up with a simple contact form. I then downloaded madmini to use with the contact form. I downloaded both madmini plugins. After setting up both plugins with the correct api’s, i received an error when after i added the api for your plugin. When i click on the forms on the left hand side>mad mini>it gives me a page that says mad mini feeds. I automatically see this on top of the forms page “Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/Wokoy/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-mad-mimi/madmimi.php on line 1274″. Underneath that in the forms section, it says”You don’t have any Mad Mimi feeds configured. Let’s go create one!” When i click “create one”, it brings me to a page and i receive these errors: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/Wokoy/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-mad-mimi/madmimi.php on line 1274
and then in the Mad Mimi List underneath it, there are 4 links that have a warning illegal string offset ‘name’ in ….on line 593. What should i do? Thank you!

]]>Does this plugin only work if you have the Paid version of Gravity Forms contact form 7? I keep getting an error message when I try to edit the settings ‘you do not have enough permissions,’ yet I am the admin of the site. Any other reason why I would be seeing this msg?

]]>I seemingly have everything installed and setup correctly. The API connects, I can see my lists & forms in the feed setup. There doesn’t appear to be any issues in the setup.
If I complete the form, everything seems to work properly with the one major exception that the email address is not added to the mailing list. It’s not anywhere in madmimi, even in the suppressed list. I tried clearing the plugin and starting over, but I had the same result the second time around. The form is at wallgalleries.com/contact. I don’t really even know where to start on troubleshooting this.
Ideas?

]]>Hi Zack … thanks for a great plugin! ?? I’ve been using Mad Mimi for our newsletter distribution, and Gravity Forms was just the other plugin I needed to integrate a subscription form easily on our site.
However I have a question about the possibility of being able to use two different forms for subscription purposes.. We use a ‘full’ form on one of our site’s pages that has the option of providing a number of additional details (eg organisation, phone, address etc) when people subscribe to our newsletter. Additional details that are not mandatory, but helpful for us to review demographics etc.
However I’d like to add a widget as well that has a ‘short’ version – just name and email required. The ‘full’ form is way too long to place in a sidebar widget!
At the moment, I can only use one form for a Mad Mimi feed – there’s no option to have Mad Mimi accept output from a different/second form for the same list.
Will that be something available in a future release? Or is it not possible? I am not enough of a tech person to know the complexities or otherwise of the coding involved. ??
As far as I can tell, the only way around it is to create a second list in Mad Mimi, to which people filling out the shorter widget form will be subscribed. So I’ll then have two separate lists for distribution of the same newsletter. Am I correct in that assumption?
Many thanks in advance for any info, advice or tips you can offer. ??
Cheers
Sue

]]>My site offers a daily and a weekly email option. What I would like to do is not only allow the user to pick between either, but also when they do select the daily option, automatically also add them to the weekly one so that if they do get sick of the daily and go to unsubscribe they have the option of remaining on the weekly list.
I have tried setting up two feeds for the one form, the one that links to the daily list is conditional on them selecting “daily”.
The one connected to the weekly list has no conditions.
However even when people select the daily option, they are only be added to the weekly list.
Any ideas on a work around? I’d really love to get this working asap.
Thanks for the great plugin

]]>A couple of things to report.
My registered email and API key are validated without an issue, however, in the feeds section, when selecting the Mad Mimi list you can only see the first letter or number of your list in the dropdown. This will cause issues if anyone has multiple lists starting with the same letter.
In my case, I’ve only one list created so I selected that and selected the form I want and filled out the fields. I didn’t click the Opt-In condition option to keep it simple but when I create an entry using the form, nothing is sent across to Mad Mimi. An entry is created and a notification email sent to me as it should, but nothing appears to be passed over to Mad Mimi. Sadly that makes the plugin useless. Can you please suggest what the issue may be? This plugin is a great idea and would make life so much easier if it worked.
