Hello everyone,

I am having some issues exporting form data to highrise when highrise custom fields have apostrophes in them (eg. Father’s Name).

When I activate the option to ‘Allow field to be populated dinamically’ and write the field label as parameter name, it gets trimed after the apostrophe, and does not push into highrise.

Has someone come across something similar?

I am getting the error message: Twitter username is invalid

If they don’t have a twitter username, what can be done to remove this? I have prepopulated https://twitter.com/ on the field…should i just remove that?

The instructions on your plugin say the following, but there is no “Enable Highrise integration” box or words anywhere, and I just spent two hours looking.

To integrate a form with Highrise:
Edit the form you would like to integrate (choose from the Edit Forms page).
Click “Form Settings”
Click the “Advanced” tab
Check the box “Enable Highrise integration”
Save the form
Note: Form entries must have First & Last Names for data to be saved to Highrise.

I did find an “Advanced” tab but there is no “Enable Highrise Integration” there. FYI I am using Gravity Forms Version 1.7.6 and WordPress Version 3.5.2

Hi Zack, can you please look into the plugin, because I really like to use this addon in combination with Mail Chimp and Gravity Forms.
I activated the plugin, but it is not listed in forms. What is wrong?

Firstly i’d just like to thank you for developing this awesome integration – it was the missing piece of the puzzle for one of my clients and i really appreciate it mate!

Was just wondering – this client has two sites; a main site (domain.com) as well as a mobile site (m.domain.com). Both of these sites have seperate WordPress installations and seperate installations of Gravity Forms. Is it possible to link them both to the same Highrise account?

I’ve recently updated to the latest version of Gravity Forms (1.7.1). When I did, all of the Highrise options disappeared. However, when I downgraded back to 1.6.12, the Highrise options reappeared. Any ideas why it is doing this?

Is there any any way for the plugin to use the admin field instead of the normal field label if it is set? For example, if I had a drop down that I want to capture interest in moving to a particular state. To make it look good in the form I’d like to have to set the field label to “What state are you interested in moving to?” This means that my custom field in highrise has to say the same thing which is a little long. I’d like to set the admin label to “Interested State” to match the same name in Highrise. Is there a way to check the admin field first then the field label?

Are there any limitations on what you can name the mapped fields? For example, can I include special characters such as spaces, parenthesis and question marks?

My non mapped fields are not showing up as notes in Highrise after I submit the form. I’ve been poking through the code a little and it looks to me like the only time a note is created is if the sNotes label is set. Do I need to set the label for the non mapped field to sNote to make this work?

Am I the only one who is experiencing intermittent problems with this plugin? When people are filling out our contact forms on our sites, they are submitting their phone number and email address, as they are required fields in the Gravity forms. BUT, sometimes the email address or phone number isn’t being inserted into the client record on Highrise. Everything else will be inserted, but the email will be missing – or maybe the phone number is missing. When I double check the confirmation email, both of those fields are there, which is confusing. I can manually update the contact record with those fields, but why even bother with this plugin if we have to do that?

My Highrise URL and API token check out but nothing gets into Highrise. When I set debug to true, I see this 37signals error message in the [body] of the [response] array:

Oops, that isn’t right.
You may have typed the URL incorrectly.
Check to make sure you’ve got the spelling, capitalization, etc. exactly right.

The URL and token look correct in the debug as well.

I’m using WordPress 3.5.1, Gravity Forms 1.6.12, Gravity Forms Highrise Plugin 2.5.1, and a theme based on Genesis Framework 1.9.1.

Hi, we’d like to build a site where visitors use GravityForms to submit a confidentiality form to get further content about a real estate property. When they submit a confidentiality form, we’d like to add their information into Highrise at the same time using this plugin. The visitor can submit a confidentiality for many different properties which each have their own unique listing number. Is there a way to add the listing number to a previous Highrise entry without overwriting any existing information?

I want to be able to access all customer submitting a form on my iPhone. I set it up properly and everything works great but there is no way for me to customize which submitted fields show up under a contact on the mobile app. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hello-

I recently installed Gravity Forms Highrise Add-on and for some reason I can’t get the Custom Fields to push to Highrise. The default parameters seem to post fine (name, company, address etc.)

I’ve went into my Highrise Custom Fields and added a parameter for “sGender”. Then I went to my gravity forms, selected one line text, clicked it’s advanced options and checked “Allow field to be populated dynamically”. Then I added my parameter name “sGender” and saved.

Any idea why my custom field sGender isn’t being pushed to Highrise with the other data?

The plugin is working great for my input fields, but I don’t seem to be able to map the value from a select box/ drop down to a Highrise custom field. I cannot get names imported into HR using single line text fields named “First Name” and “Last Name”. The advanced name field will not work because I need the first and last name fields aligned vertically, as shown below.

I have tried creating fields called Source URL or Url on Highrise as well as the related hidden fields on gravity forms (don’t want them displayed to the user).

I use the insert merge tag to select embed_url

It always populates the url to the work website address field in Highrise.

How do I rather get it populated to my own custom field?

Hi,

Trying to populate both the company information and person information, have managed to get person info working as well as the name of the company however I also want to populate company email, telephone address etc, is this possible?

I’m hoping it’s simply a matter of having the correctly named form labels but can’t find any documentation.

If you’re having the issue where the Highrise settings screen doesn’t appear as an option under the Forms menu here’s what fixed it for me. The plugin looks for a permission called gravityforms_highrise to determine who should see the settings screen. I’m using Justin Tadlock’s Members plugin on a particular site. The Highrise plugin doesn’t create the permission it’s looking for when you install it so nobody (including admin) can see the settings screen. Under the Members-> Roles screen I manually added gravityforms_highrise as an option and then granted that permission to my admin role and now the settings screen appears.

To the author: You could add the following to you init function to handle it automatically:

After updating the plugin (which is now working great!) the main Forms list in GF has all forms showing the Highrise icon, not only the forms with Highrise actually activated.

Hi there.

I am trying to use The Gravity Forms Highrise plugin (2.5) with WordPress 3.4.2, and a Personal Subscription to Gravity Forms.

While I can check the box “Enable Highrise integration” in the Gravity Forms Advanced tab, I cannot find where to enter my Highrise URL and API Token details.

I have checked and curl is enabled on my server.

Is there something I am missing?

Is there some kind of documentation or instructions I’m missing? As far as I can tell, the readme file contains no instructions, the FAQ page here contains no instructions… how is one supposed to know how to implement tags and get ALL the data on the form to attach itself to the contact in Highrise. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to know HOW to integrate anything other than standard GF fields (which is plug and play) since I see and have found, zero documentation on it that isn’t developer code.
