This is a great plugin and very useful. Are there any plans to add a visual editor to it?

One of the reasons I love it, is it makes it easier for my clients to understand where the content for the page is. But unfortunately those same clients don’t code, so it would be nice if they had a way to edit without worrying about <p> tags etc.

I just noted that your comments about Shortcode in Graceful Sidebar Plugin is supported as of version 1.0.12.

I just installed version 1.0.15, and I cannot find a way to insert any code at all. Can’t even format the text. Like many things, it might be something I’m missing since I’m relatively new to WordPress.

If I could insert code, this would be a perfect plugin for my needs.

After introducing a new category I added this category to some posts on lsited at my startpage. Then I excluded this posts related to this category from appearing at the startpage using an entry in functions.php. When I had finished this job the following problem occured:

– I lost all information, I had entered into the Graceful Sidebar fields of this posts

– In addition I lost all graceful sidebar information on any new post listed at my startpage with different categories then the new one.

I absolutely love this plugin and use it on most all of my sites. On my newest venture I would really love to have 2 or more of the widgets running concurrently on a single page. It would really add to the customizeability(“Thats not a word”… “It came out of my mouth, didn’t it?”) of the site.

I have 3 sidebars and would like to be able to use your plugin on all 3 if necessary for my client. You make this happen and I PROMISE a donation would make it your way expeditiously.

I just logged on to a site I’m working on for a client, and all of my custom sidebars are gone. The Graceful panes within the posts are blank. I’m talking two days worth of coding these custom sidebars for dozens of posts. If ANYBODY has any idea what could have happened and if these are recoverable, it’d be hugely appreciated.

I’m using this for inserting custom amazon links in the sidebar for each post. I’ve gotten it to work by adding this to gs_widget($args):

global $asa;
if($asa && $asa instanceof AmazonSimpleAdmin){
$content = $asa->parseContent($content);
}


It’d be great to get this built in to the plugin so I don’t have to keep adding it as you upgrade!

The custom fields graceful_title and graceful_content work just fine in regular posts, but those custom fields are not working in a custom post type I created (“Articles”) — the content appears in the main column rather than in the sidebar.

I’ve just started working with custom post types so may be missing something I need to configure to get this working right.

Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks very much.

Does the graceful sidebar supports the use of shortcodes?

I’ve just tried inserting my buy now button shortcode and the actual shortcode code is showing instead of the button.

Is that normal?
